Its pretty easy to use. It turns on when the input jack is connected and gives you read-out fairly easily. It tunes accurately and gets it very close to being correct. In my experience only a stobe tuner will get you as close to perfect as possible.

I use the tuner infront of the amp along with my crybaby wah and Ibanez tubescreamer. Its quite and doesn't make any noise.
My amp is a Peavey Ultra 60w 1x12 w/ an effects loop that I run my other pedals through. This pedal doesn't affect my tone.

Its tough as nails with the metal casing and I would def. use it without a backup.

This is a good unit in the pedal tuner category. Some prefer the Boss TU-2 pedal as the best choice out of all them. I agree that the Boss pedal has some nice features but your also paying more for the pedal. One thing that you have to remember is that when you press the switch on the pedal it mutes the signal. It doesn't turn it on/off like the Boss. This then means that it will go threw batteries faster because of it. I recommend getting a power adaptor so that you don't need to worry about it. If it got stolen I would think about getting the boss pedal just for the reason of powering other boss pedals that I have. But then again this is still a really nice, tuner pedal.

Very easy to use. Manual gives great explanation on how to use the flat tuning mode. Easy to see on stage, but stinks in the sunlight

No problems. I have not noticed any noise. Switch is silent, which is the biggest reason I bought it.

Only problem is it occasionally won't "hear" the first note when I start to tune. Hitting A seems to wake it up, then I jump back to E. Strange. Other than that, it has survived weekly gigging and rehearsals for 8 months without a problem.

It's a tuner! Relatively simple for standard tuning. Slightly confusing to set it up for flat tunings.

Nice to see they designed it with a true bypass.

Terrible - I sent it back. After just two days, it would no longer work with a 9V AC adaptor. Strange problem, as I could still "daisy chain" other effects out of the additional plug (a nice feature, ala the Boss TU-2), so power was getting through the plug into the case, but the tuner itself would not work. It continued to work, however, when I put a battery back in it.
My second gripe: Despite the bomb-proof looking metal case, when you remove the footswitch cover to replace the battery, you see that the actual switch being activated by the metal cover is a cheap-looking plastic microswitch. Although I returned mine after only a week, I would question how long this little guy inside is going to hold up.

Never dealt with 'em. I returned it to the store and replaced it with a Korg DT-10, and I've been happy ever since.

I was not impressed by this tuner. I would not replace it with another one -- I went with the Korg DT-10 stage tuner instead.

Glad you asked. Completely unreliable. Doesn't read the note about half the time. Usually the mute swithching doesn't work. Consumes batteries with voracity.

This is a total and unequivicable piece of crap. I owned one of the first Sabine tuners (the flat one) for years, and it worked great, but they've really dropped the ball here. I'm buying a Boss TU-2. I would love to crush and shread this thing and send it back to the manufacturer, but I can probably unload it on ebang. Did I mention this thing is a piece of crap?

i don't like the fact that it is lit by connecting the imput jack.. it continues to show you the note you are playing throughout the gig (eating batteries) much better the "BOSS TU-2" way (lit by pressing the pedal) I bought it for the price(60Euro).the bossTU-2 costs 130Euro here(!!!!).
I pretty like it in the end

Simple: it doesn't work. I bought a wonderful new pedal. It could get the tune of my Strato online with volume 10 (!). Completely dead with lower guitar volume. I changed it with another one ... it couldn't get any sound at all. A disaster. Now i got the pedal tuner by Fender and works great.

Question: if this is true bypass, why do the tunings continue showing even when you're playing? Some of the signal is OBVIOUSLY going to the pedal in order for it to continue showing the tuning. I'd rather have a REALLY true bypass, and besides, a continuous readout is just plain annoying to begin with.
(It remains the best pedal tuner I've used, though... just saying it could be better still).

Very easy to use: hit the pedal to cut out from the mix, hit it again to cut back in and bypass the pedal. Only bad thing is that, like any pedal with LED's, you can't see them if playing outdoors under bright sunlight. Minor dislike: the LED keeps giving you the notes even when you're not in tuning mode.

True hardwire bypass. About the only "sound quality" consideration for a tuning pedal.

Undecided. I've only had it a day and already encountered two minor problems: (1) it was not set to standard A=440Hz tuning, so I plugged in to tune (prior to the gig thankfully) and was nunplussed. I read the manual and found how to reset it, which is very easy to do - then it was perfectly fine. (2) At the gig - the input jack had a loose bolt on it... still worked, but left me somewhat bummed.
Anyway, over "reliability" seems fine: it's very sturdy. However, for "factory setup" they get a low score: a loose bolt on the jack and not having it set to standard tuning; these were both annoying, (but nothing that would stop me from buying it again - a true bypass pedal tuner is a good thing).

Minuses: Can't read LED's in bright sunlight; and the poor factory setup.
Plusses: Easy to use; Rugged; and True Bypass.
I would buy it again since every guitarist should have a good tuning pedal, and this is a good one. Could've been better out of the box, though.

It really doesn't seem that accurate, nowhere near as sensitive as my little Korg tuner. I haven't had any problems with it failing, however.

If I lost it I would buy a more accurate unit, it sort of defeats the purpose of the silent tuning feature.

Out of the box I put in the battery expecting to also connect my 1/4" guitar cable to fire it up. When the battery was installed, it came to life and flashed a single green light. I can only believe that the switch on the input was bad....as it should not have done anything until the guitar cable was connected. If this is the standard mode, buy lots of 9V batteries.

I called Sabine at about 3pm EST and left a voicemail for one of the customer service people describing my concern.
I called back at about 4:45 EST and again got voicemail. (What do should I expect for 80 bucks?)
No response calls at tonight.

The unit does tune...but it won't shut off. I think this is probably a great tuner and I got one with a bad switch. Oh well, switch happens.
I'm now considering whether a rack tuner makes more sense than a floor tuner. No stinkin power supplies to deal with, less clutter on the floor.
