This pedal has some nice features, analog chorus effects, and Sabine really tried to put alot of features into this pedal, unfortunatly this pedal 3 serious problems.
1.It is unacceptabley noisy. It has a very audiable hiss, which increases in relationship with the speed, tone, mix knobs. Also there is a "pop" or"click" noise when the pedal is engaged.:(
All pedals this side of studioquality produce some small amount of hiss, but the Sabine is much to noisy for any playing situation , :(.
2.The 2 barreltip power jacks, which I though "cool I can also power my Ibanez ts-808 and Boss pedals with my SKB pedalboard" Nope ..
The barrel size on the Sabine is slightly bigger and is inconpatible with the Standard AC barrel plugs for all Boss,Ibanez,Fulltone pedals ect
Bluntly This really sucks, sure you can power other NexFex pedals, but if its anything like their chorus ,why bother!?
3.The Tone knob.I only found useable tone when the knob is maxed out at 4 oclock, anything below lacks shimmer, and killed all the highs, becoming too bassy.
Reliability

No Opinion
I decided to return it after about a hour trying to get some decent tones.

This pedal is much to noisy ,Quiet! I bought it mailorder ,after reading some reveiws and checking the specs which on paper look good.
The other features such as stereo panning, mixing are great, but using them just contributed to the signal noise. FYI I compared the Sabine to a Arion Sch-1(which is quiet lusher,"digital" sounding and 1/2 the price too,and run of the mill BOSS chourus which not as lush but much more functional.
Fix the noise, switch and better EQ the tone knob and this pedal would be quite a great pedal.
Otherwise it NOT worth the money, heck even for free I wouldnt use it (I couldnt stand hearing "shhhwhsssh wshh" when Im not playing with it)
The incompatability of the powerconnecters is also a drawback.
But the NexFex sure looks cool poweredup, with its backlit display, flashy!(Maybe Ill hang it on my X-mas tree)
