One read through the instruction booklet and I was off and running. I inserted the unit into my rack, plugged it in, and voila, it worked like a charm. I prefer the strobe tuning to the regular tuning, I like visually seeing if I'm going sharp or flat. Plus, it's really cool to see all of those lights from across the stage. I especially love the Mute feature, as well. I'm thinking of purchasing the optional foot pedal so I can mute and check tuning in between songs while still standing over by my vocal mic. You could probably see the tuner from a mile away, I love it!

Sound Quality : 10
I experienced no added noise. I use a ART SP4X4 power conditioner (a power conditioner is highly recommended by the way) in my rack, so I assume that helps reduce overall noise. I'm giving the unit a 10 rating simply because there was nothing noticeably different in noise, and for that alone I give it a good rating.

Reliability : No Opinion
I've only owned the unit for two weeks now, thereofor I cannot give an opinion about Reliability yet, but so far it is working great. It's housed in a very nice grey/black metallic box, nice buttons, easy to see lights (all very much better than pictures represent) and now that it is put into a rack I'm sure they'll be no issues.

I have not had a need to call Customer Support. No opinion.

If you're going to spend $70 on a little Boss tuner (or similar), you might as well go for broke and get a great Pro tuner. Just the fact that I do not have to walk over to my gear to tune is a great blessing. In fact, I can see every note being played, while I'm playing a song, and know if I'm a little out of tune or not. The LEDs are VERY easy to see from anywhere on stage. You can spend more money to get some extra bells and whistles, but in the end, you'll simply want your instrument in tune, so my suggestion would be not to waste extra money on the "extra stuff". Harmony-Central web reviews were instrumental (pun intended) for me to make the decision to purchase the Sabine RT7000 Rack Tuner and I am very satisfied.

as with most tuners, this unit was very straight forward in operation. my only complaint is that there is no instruction manuel from Sabine's website, as i have misplaced the one that came with the unit. also when using the tuner in the non-strobe mode. the resolution of the LED's are at best +/- 3 cents per LED, which isn't good enough for me. i would like +/- 1 cent accuracy.

Sound Quality : 10
this unit replaced a korg rackmount tuner and the noise problem that i was having with the korg tuner is now solved. this unit is absolutely noiseless.

Reliability : 10
ruggged, metal housing. build very well.

One thing you should be aware of is that this thing doesn't have hybrid power supply for European and US voltages, which is weird for an item that is supposed to be used on the road. I guess this is doesn't matter if you never leave your country. I would rate at as difficult to use overseas. I have returned it to the shop for that reason.

Sound Quality : No Opinion
I haven't get to use it, though I expect it to be pretty good, since it has grounding plug.

Reliability : No Opinion
I haven't get to use it.

Customer support was very responsive -- they were returning calls, trying to provide information, but still couldn't help to solve the problem.

Overall Rating : 5
If you never leave you country it's a good product, but I can't use it. If Sabine ever changes their power adapter to the one that supports hybrid voltages I'll buy it the next day. For now I'll stick with tuners that run on batteries.

VERY easy to use, in either strobe, or normal mode. Has a large, easy to see display, and is the most accurate tuner I've ever used.

Sound Quality : 10
Very quiet, adds no noise at all.

So far, so good---but I take backups for EVERYTHING.

Very easy to use, straight forward rack tuner. I like the strobe feature. At a glance you can see if you're in tune from 50 feet away, nice on large stages. The display is maybe even a little too bright, but looks pretty cool at "idle" with sort of a "jacobs ladder" effect to it.

Sound Quality : 10
I'm using it patched between a Samson CR-4 wireless and a Rocktron Voodu Valve/Velocity amps. It's transparent, quiet as a tuner should be. It replaced a Korg DTR-2 that was picking up 60hz noise at high gain settings.

Reliability : No Opinion
I dont know how reliable it is, as I just put it in the rack before last weekend's gig.

I think a tuner is a tuner, but this one looks a little cooler than most...much better than the picture on their website. The slate-grey metalic finish looks at home in my rack which is all black face gear. Seems very well built, a little heavier chassis than the Korg. It's also built in the U.S.A., for some reason I like that.
It might be a little flashy for some, and the lights are definately RED. If I could I would dim the lights a little, but you can definately read it, even in daylight. Overall, I would say that it's a great unit for the price.
