Does not effect my tone what so ever which is how i like it. In my setup it is before a noise gate so i dont know if it introduces hum. Im happy with how it works.

Good tuner only thing is its pretty expensive cheaper than the korg though. I've only used it for guitar and bass it is very accurate the slightest touch of the fine tuners on my guitar and the tuner shows it. The multiple routing paths throught the tuner is very cool as live i play through a wireless and at jam i use a lead so there is no need to unplug anything it automatically detects what is plugged in the u select which source u want.

I play in a rock-roll cover band.
been playing 22 years and wanted a rackmount tuner,it was this or the
korg dtr-1.
I got this one for its features.
It has a built in A/B box for 2 guitars and 2 amps.
(with auto vol. adj.)
external mic.
and a 2 step transposer.
strobe or standard mode.
mute .
very bright easy to read ,works very well.
I give it a 8 for it's high price.
