very easy to dial up its one sound which is full on. one switch so how can you go wrong. very narrow gain range from lots of fuzz to hell of a lot of fuzz.

i thoughy my fuzz master was quiet enough to use in both the studio and live. set up was a jap strat through a mesa boogie dual rectifier. not a loud effect but with so much fuzz it actually seem to suck the sound volume when you picked hard. i hoped that it might be nasle and harsh when i bought it but it is actually smooth and very compressed.

super eliable as mine seems to be new old stock . bit it flimsy for me to gig with but definatley good for studio use.i have seen many of these in brisbane, australia in various stages of decomposure. no-one likes them and they are quite cheap when found.

this pedal does not suit my style of playing generally as i like distortions that cut . it is way smooth and great for single note leads. goes crazy on chords. real interesting box it came in as on the instructions it is called a fuzz master but on the effect it is called a fuzz box.i would also like to know if this is a very early super fuzz. i believe that shin-ei were manufacturers for univox early on in the piece. have seen the same effect but with the controls on the side and an appollo badge on top - i'm sure it was made by shin-ei and rebadged.
