I USE THIS PEDAL ON MY DISTORTION CHANNEL AND LEAVE IT ON, IT IS THE MOST SIMPLE PEDAL WITH THE GREATEST EFFECT ON TONE ENHANCEMENT I HAVE USED. SIMPLY ONE KNOB TO CONTROL THE AMOUNT OF EFFECT I USE IT AT ABOUT 4. I HATE TO PLAY WITHOUT IT.

I PLAY MORE OF A HEAVY METALCORE TYPE MUSIC MY SET-UP IS A TUBE AMP, GENZ BENZ EL DIABLO 100(LOUD AS ____!) AND A 7-STRING SCHECTER, W/ SEYMOURS. INCLUDING THIS PEDAL I AM FINALLY HAPPY. IT SEEMS TO ADD AN EVER SO SLIGHT CRACKING NOISE TO MY DISTORTION MAKING IT REALLY BITE AT HIGHER VOLUMES. ALSO ITS TRUE BYPASS IS VIRTUALLY DEAD ON.

I HAVE HAD THE PEADAL FOR A SHORT TIME BUT I HAVE NO DOUBTS ON ITS QUALITY OR CRAFTSMANSHIP, HANDMADE IN THE "U S OF A".

I ONLY DEALT WITH MICHAEL, THE BUILDER/CREATOR SMART GUY, VERY HELPFUL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE, HE HELPED ME FIX THE CHIP THE ONE TIME I HAD A PROBLEM, I LEFT IT ON WHILE THE BATTERY DRAINED COMPLETELY SO DON'T DO THAT.

THIS PEDAL REALLY MAKES YOUR TONE SOAR, EVEN THOUGH I BELIEVE IT WAS MADE FOR CLEAN CHANNELS MOSTLY, I USE DISTORTION AND IT SOUNDS SOOOO MUCH CLEARER AND BOLDER, WITHOUT MUCH DB BOOST. I WORK FOR A MUSIC RETAIL STORE, 'BURT MURDOCK MUSIC' AND AS A SALES MANAGER I SAY THIS PEDAL ROCKS! THANKS TO MICHAEL.

I'm not big on exciters/enhancers to begin with, but used sparingly (I liked the effect knob at 12 o'clock or so), this one has a pretty good tone. It doesn't boost the bass, but just adds a crisp, clear presence. I found it more useful with a clean tone that needs a bit of brightness to it than with a heavily distorted tone. Using it before your chorus/flange/phase pedals will give them some more upper harmonics to work with, for a more pronounced effect. Rock and metal players who like lots of sizzle in their distorted tone will love it.

No trouble so far. The circuitry is very clean, the casing is rugged and durable, and the components are top-notch.

I haven't had any trouble with the pedal, so I can't comment too much on this. The gentleman I spoke with, Mike, was both friendly and knowledgeable, and was happy to answer my questions.

I don't use enhancers as an integral part of my tone, but I found this pedal very useful to wake up my slightly dull clean tone. Players who like lots of "sizzle" in their tone will dig this pedal.
