Really good distortion. i use it with a PRS CE22 through a 73 super reverb and it really gives my pedal board that really aggressive distortion i need. i already have a TS9 mod from solid gold which i use as much as i can but when im playing somthing that needs a little more crunch this really does the trick.......the mod is what makes the difference for me in this pedal, i found the stock DS-1 a little too fuzzy and thin sounding but after the mod the pedal has way more output and low end which is excatly what it needed.

its a boss pedal so you know they're strong.......and i havent had any problems since the mod was done.

this DS-1 mod will take your pedal from a middle of the road comon boss distortion and shape it into a serious aggressive rock stomp box.
