This pedal is very good for heavy rock sounds it has 3 controls a volume control (Level) a distortion control (Dist) and a tone control(Tone)there is a bright led to tell you when the unit is on or off and the foot bypass switch is very good and you know when its on or off !
I got this unit secondhand and it ws boxed and had a manual but it does not need it really although it was clearly printed and easy to understand
Battery replacement is quite easy as you undo a cover on the bottem and it's abit tight but ok

I dont use this pedal for guitar and when i have it sounded ok but not what i was looking for but i prefer pedals like the Rat or a Boss DS-1.
I play Bass in a heavy rock band and distortion is a main part of my bass sound this is the pedal i use it gives the right amount of gain and tone shaping so i dont lose any bass when the effect is on as some distortion pedals lose the bass frequencys this one sounds great.
I play through a Trace Elliot V Type head and 15 inch speaker cab

I use this pedal for all my gigs with no backup it's Sound City what can i say they build things how they should be made solid !

Heavy rock this pedal gives me the low fuzzy sound i need with enough tone control to shape the sound i need
I have played guitar and Bass for around 10 years
If it was lost or stolen i would be most un happy as you can not buy these pedals and if i see another i will buy 1 for a spare
these pedals are amazing and rare !
When i do gigs i know that there will be no way someone has the same equipment as me !
I didn't even know that Sound City made foot pedals but now i do i will buy them when i see them !
