Although I would like to have a tone boost control rather than a treble cut, the controls are simple and responsive. The knobs are also big and easy to reach with my foot for quick adjustments on stage, and the switch is sure and solid when turning the pedal on and off. Speedster even gives you pre-cut velcro in the shape of the pedal for people like me who use pedalboards. The round shape is a bit hard to place among all my other rectangular pedals, and it is a bit of a bother trying to line it up perfectly straight, but that might just be the OCD side of me talking.

I have played Les Pauls, Teles, and Strats through this thing and it all sounds great. Like I stated above, I would prefer to have a tone boost control rather than the treble cut, but I got used to using it pretty quickly The sound is super smooth and tight, with plenty of bottom end and it cleans up well when I roll back the volume knob on the guitar. The pedal is pretty versatile too. I could go from a nice punchy clean boost straight up a gritty over-the-top overdrive with the well laid out controls. I use it for both rhythm and lead lines (with a post-signal boost pedal to saturate the drive a bit more) and it does both jobs extremely well. I have even played some gigs with the thing on for every song with only a boost and delay in my chain just because it sounds like it belongs in the music. I have had many people who have heard it fall in love with the sound as well, and it is by far one of the best overdrives I have ever used/heard.

Before I bought my road case for my padalboard, I used to carry my pedalboard by a handle. It took a lot of abuse on gigs and rolling around in my trunk, but the only signs of it is that the word "turbo charger" on the front got scraped off. All the parts are put together well, and even when I opened it up the electronics were clean with very good connections all around. I don't suspect this thing will give me any trouble anywhere in the near future if ever at all.

I haven't dealt with the company at all because my pedal never needed any work, but I stopped by their booth at the NAMM show and they were pretty friendly guys who answered my questions well.

This pedal is definitely something I have completely fallen in love with. I love to smooth tone of the overdrive while soloing and the crunch and crisp attack it gives for rhythm. I use it in conjunction with a Semour Duncan Booster for that extra kick while soloing, and the Fulltone OCD pedal as a good complementary sound. I do think that the price is pretty high (it usually goes for around $240US), but if you're looking for that great 808 sound, try one of these out.

Very easy to use. If you have used a tube screamer then you are there.

I have used several tube screamers and tube screamer type pedals that all claim to capture that true sound of the early tube sceamers. I used Fulltone for years now. Nothing compares to this pedal. It simply put sounds the best.

Precision machined from a solid billet of aircraft grade 6061-T6 aluminum. Anodized to military specifications. From the website. Can't get a bettr description. This thing would live through a fall from the Sears Tower.

I ordered mine from a dealer in Illinois. There a not a lot of dealers for these pedals in fact there wasn't one in my State at all. That makes these a little hard to come by right now but if you want the best tone a pedal has to offer then order on of these. I would rate this the best overdrive made to date!!!
