With boutique pedals all over the market, it's easy to find something good. But something great only pops up every once in a while and this is it. This is one of the most nuanced "TS" type pedals I've ever tried. From little more than a boost to a ballsy growl, the vintage OD does it all, and with low noise, plus with true bypass to boot. At the current prices you should get one -- now.

I play mainly a strat with lollar pickups through a 68 Fender Super reverb. I try different pedals all the time, but Stig's Vintage overdrive is the only one with a permanent spot on my board.

Three knobs, volume, tone, and Gain/Disto. Pretty straight foward. You can push your amp with the volume, or create pedal overdrive with the gain knob. Set all knobs in the middle, click the footswitch and you've dailed in some killer tone. Just tweak to your liking from there. Easier to dial in tones than the Green Box.

Amazing tone. Running a G&L ASAT --Stig overdrive---Dr.Z Carmen Ghia 1X12. Anywhere from shimmering clean boost to nasty Marshall like balls, but without the mud. Pedal sounds great anyway you set it. I can't say that enough. True bypass. On or off it sounds great. Low noise.

Works everytime. Have owned for 6 months and had absolutely no problems. Using power from pedalboard. No need for a backup overdrive pedal.

Stigtronics is very easy to deal with, just an email away. Great warranty. Stig does repairs and upgrades on old pedals. Just sent my compressor in for a new internal trim pot.

A very musical pedal. Easy to fall in love with. You'll find yourself leaving it on all the time. I put it in front of octave, chorus, envelope filter, delay, and wah. Sounds amazing with all effects. This pedal makes all my pedals sound better. I had a friend bring over a Boss ME-50 and added it in front the Stig Overdrive and my friends were floored. It actually enhanced the digital pedals tone. Giving it a more analog feel but with digital benefits. This is the pedal that pros go for. A better value than all other boutique priced overdrives.

I play single coils-G&L's and Fender's With a custom Bassman amp. The pedal doesnt even think about covering up the tone of your guitar or amp.
