i found that with a few suggestions from the manual ,it didn't take me very long to get some very cool and intersting sounds from this device despite its intimidating control panel, the manufacturer cut to the chase by encouraging me to "tickle that red l.e.d.". if you can turn knobs and flip switches the only barrier is your imagination.

i love all types of guitars but i'm always drawn back to my stratocaster. i did try it with a guitar with humbucking pickups and found the sound to be equally pleasing. i am partial to small amps, no doubt about it they sound better, and i've had my share of "stack"amplifiers only to come back around to the small ones. i have a fender blues junior that i really love ,but the vox brian may recording amp is my current weapon of choice, this phaser ,a strat ,and this AC-30 in the dsguise of a lunch box will give you all the dreamy ,sweeping rich sound you could ever imagine, a phase 90 it's not, it does way more, so much more words can't describe it.

i came from the school of, a guitar ,a cable, and an amp, nothing should get in the way of what is important ,conveying your music ,channeling yourself through your instrument. yes ,i believe i could depend on it , no batteries involved, just a nice power supply ,included with the pedal, the thought that has gone into this pedal is pretty thorough, but you should always have a backup

i have the good fortune to live in california, if ther was a problem ,i'm sure i could hop in my van and drive to el segundo and drop it off to be repaired or get another if it was crucial for a gig or for recording, that's what fed-ex overnight and ups red label are for.

i grew up listening to all types of music , as i said earlier i don't use or subscribe to a pedal board full of effects, i did find that with a little understanding of the controls on the unit and a lot of experimenting a person could be inspired to come up with all kinds of ideas for all kinds of music ,your mood ,the way you pick the strings has a lot to do with what comes out of the amp, even when you think you're done a little something extra comes out.i took the owners manual to kinkos and copied the schematic of the control panel onto double sided legal size paper in order to make myself a little book so i can remember all the cool settings i've discovered. i wish there was a way to save each setting in a memory bank for instant recall, maybe the wireheads that dreamed this rig up will take it as a suggestion to work on in the future! i will look forward to any other pedals these guys come up with , in this day and age of digital ,digital, digital, it's refreshing to find something that goes back to the "good old days" and sounds so good
