It is not a simple device. If you are looking for a specific sound it will probably take you a few minutes to find it, but it makes basically any sound you could possibly imagine making with a ring mod, which is truly the point of this pedal.

It sounds great! I play noise prog a la Lightning Bolt and it's great for making a plethora of bizarre noises. I particularly like the sample/hold settings. THEY RULE.
some people say it is not really as fat sounding as the Moog, but it has 3 times as many knobs so who cares! It sounds super fat with the gain boost on anyways.
i use it with a modmax filter (I LOVE MODMAX), ibanez CF-7, Line6 DL-4 and danelectro back talk into a Mesa Boogie Road King. This makes for incredibly terrifying noise music.

It's solid as fuck except for one problem: the ac adapter jack is a little loose. it's never turned off while i was playing, but i often have to wiggle it to get it to turn on when i'm starting.

they are super cool guys! i posted a review of their filter and said it was a noisy and they saw the review and emailed me and offered to give it an upgrade that fixes signal/noise ratio for free. best service i've ever got from any company ever.

This is the greatest ring modulator ever made. It is totally terrifying, it makes sounds never heard before from a ring mod. it has envelope frequency!!! that means when you play a note it will go "weeeeoooooooo" or if you like "ooooeeeewww". more than that, nearly ALL of the features have envelope controls!!!! it fucking rules!
