TOO EASY!!! One (light purple)knob for speed,,how hard is that?
Mine is white with light purple graphics,,,built by Bob Sweet, RIP brother,,,

80's jap contemporary fender strat (mightymite single coils,,yeah they work fine)or backup is same guitar with robert cray pickups-clyde wah-MoFaux-fuzz pedal(rotation of fuzz pedals,,lol)-French toast(f ing rocks)-Fulltone OCD-Artec analog delay-boss tuner-Peavey classic 30 with ext cab and mojo tone vintage 30 clones in each.
****so I spend money when neccessary,,,but I am not a pedal snob,,,I'll use the cheap pedal if it works as good or better than the expensive boutique pedal,,
not noisy or weak on any settings, low speed just makes it a little less obvious, 12 oclock or higher, AWESOME univibe sounds. Works great clean or with distortion.
ATTENTION: I have had the dejavibe 2, the original large white dejavibe with a STAR from Mike Fuller for excellent sound, and a large gold one, a mojovibe, an ultravibe, a prescription vibe unit, and a microvibe. (i don't count the Jim Dunlop univibe for jimi or robin purposes)
One time when I was using the large white dejavibe with the star,,I had a great vibe going at the end of Too Rolling Stoned by Trower. Probably the best I've ever felt with a vibe on a Trower song. (gold dejavibe totally different than the white one) I always WISH I had that one back whenever I play a Trower song. ALL of the other vibes paled compared to that one,,for Trower. Now for Jimi,,,when I farted around playing Machine Gun, or the Star Spangled Banner at full volume,,,the Mojo Vibe was awesome.
So is this as good as either of those? Hmmmmm,,,for some reason I think I get PLENTY of either of those in the MoFaux, plus MORE!! The MoFaux makes me smile. I'm very comfortable playing Jimi or Robin with it.
It takes very little space on my NYC pedalboard, or,,at the higher speed it works great for srv's cold shot and tightrope.
I am on the list for Kevin Randall's Megavibe,,,,,for 6 months now,,,I've heard Randy Hansen using it,,it has jimi at Rainbow Bridge and Woodstock written all over it,,I'm sure all the reviews here guarantee it's an awesome pedal,,but if he can't keep up with production,,,what am I supposed to do? Wait a year and maybe he makes one for me? Or buy a used one on Ebay for $500? I don't think so,,,Kevin,,,go ahead and give mine to someone else.

Sweetsound seems to have someone and/or some people continuing Bob's legacy. Bob made some of the best pedals in the World. I hope they continue to make pedals with as much soul and care as possible as Bob did.
Sweetsound,,,if you are listening,,,it would be neat maybe if you introduced yourselves here on harmony central,,I think we would all love to hear from you!

Perfect match for what I play,,,classic rock, SRV, Jimi and Trower, and I hear David Gilmour in this too. I really can't see myself being without this pedal.
Yes,,,it helps me make music,,,and is not just limited to Jimi and Trower. It's not "DARK" sounding,,,sometimes a complaint of the Dejavibes,it has no volume drop that I can hear. I have not used a mini Dejavibe.
I a/b'd it with my gold dejavibe, and the clarity is better with the MoFaux. I hear more of the bell like tones, that seem to get muffled with most higher priced vibe clones. Yes,,,it is not a 100% univibe clone,,,but play one for a minute,,,and you probably won't care,,you should be very very happy,,,I know this pedal would make Jimi smile!!!!

Small compact pedal , one knob ..........couldnt be simpler to use . There are no operating instructions supplied , but you do not need them. Make sure you run it BEFORE a wah pedal is the only thing you need to be aware of.

The Mofaux is simply magnificent. It is true bypass and sounds warm and organic. I hate digital effects pedals with a passion as they sound so artificial to my ears and lack the soul of a good analogue unit, I was going to stump up for the mojo vibe by sweet sound...but I didnt need to, I simply couldnt imagine not having the mofaux. It makes overdriven tones sound nice and chewy and cleans sound just glorious , its a pedal that offers performance way above its price for sure.

I sent Bob Sweet an email to which I got no reply whatsoever, but others say he offers great customer care. I sourced the pedal from Analogman and his customer care was beyond cricism, absolutely top notch. If Bob had bothered his arse replying to my email query Id give him a decent score .......but he didnt , so its a pretty poor score here......pity.

Its normally a black and white pedal but mine is white with purple legends and control knob, it looks very funky indeed. Its solidly built, has performed superbly, gives great analogue tones and is a definite keeper. Ive been playing 25 yrs and have gone through my fair share of equipment and can solidly endorse the mofaux, it may not a 100% genuine vibe like the mojo vibe but you can bet thats its seriously snapping at its heels for less than half the cost.If anything happened to it, Id buy another in a heartbeat. Less knobs , switches and controls gives less to twiddle and adjust, just the way I like it.

Sounds perfect for me. I have searched the world over for a simple vibe that gives this thick SRV/Trower/Hendrix tone without stealing everything else my setup has accomplished. I have spent hundreds on all the big names, Deja, Capt. Coco, etc. etc.and been unsatisfied. Money was not the object here but how ironic that this thing is so inexpensive in comparison? Totally transparent and does not suck my tone, just gives that lush vibe!! I use it with good stuff: Strat, Klon, Teese wah, Orion wah, Hartman fuzz, Fender, Victoria and Savage amps. Plus it runs off a 9 volt battery (and doesnt eat them)

this pedal always sounds good with my gear. i'm currently running an early eighties japanese strat with van zandt vintage plus pickups- analogman sunlion- boss blues driver(modded by analogman)- comprossor- mofaux vibe- mxr micro amp- holy grail reverb- boss tuner- 59' bassman reissue. the vibe is not noisy at all, and goes well with all my effects. easy to get anywhere from pink floyd to hendrix sounds.

i play a heavy rootsy style of rock. been playing for 15 years, if it were lost or stolen i would defeniatly get another one. i love everything about this pedal, especially the size. i compared it to the dunlop univibe and there was no contest. the dunlop was way too big and also sounded like crap. it's inspires everytime i turn it on. if you're looking for an outstanding vibe effect, look no further, the mofaux vibe is where it's at.

Excellent variety of sounds from very slow to very fast vibe. Wanted a pedal to give that nice throb, but without the volume drops like a regular tremolo has. Used with fuzz sounds really swampy. Used mostly with bass, sounds great for funk bass patterns on slow to mid tempos.Doesn't overtake your sound like a phasor, blends with the original sound.

A tiny black MXR sized box with one white chicken head Rate knob, bright orange LED, footswitch, In/OUT jacks and a input for AC adaptor power. It CAN'T get more simple. No manual, none needed. Plug in your guitar and play.

The Mo-Faux simply sounds fantastic and gives you that "Vibe" vibe for very little money...end of story! No, it does NOT sound the same as Bob's $300 Mojo Vibe (considered one of if not THE best Vibe clones) but it sure does put out that well known "univibe" sound in a tiny battery operated pedal that sounds great and does not take up a lot of real estate on your pedalboard.
From slow swirl to fast throb, either before or after your overdrive you end up in Hendrix/Trower/SRV territory. Sounds best in front of a good, slightly dirty OD. I tried it in front of a Timmy, Zen Drive and the cheap/great Digitech Bad Monkey and it sounded great with all of them. Gives you that "chewey" and "watery" churn that we all know and love.
Virtually no noise, True bypass with no tone suck and very wide speed range. Just sounds great.

Have said most of what needs to be said. I compared this to the Lovepedal Magicboy and like the Mo-faux more. Less coloration of the sound and the Magicboy had a bit of midrange boost that I did not care for...both excellent pedals.
The Mo-Faux looks nice, sounds great, is built well and give you that classic univibe sound in a small battery operated pedal. If you want "that" sound, this is a great way to goet it without spending the cash for any of the "big guns"; Mojo Vive, Fulltone, etc.
The "10" rating is based on how well the Mo-Faux does what it is supposed to do, for he money it costs, the quality of the product and the great sound. A winner for sure.
