Pretty simple...set the volume to match when the pedal's off or have it boost a bit. I like this compared to my Microvibe. Set the intensity and speed to taste...easy! Everything sounds great. Only improvement I can think of would be to have the modern/vintage switch externally mounted. I realize it was intentionally mounted inside due to the fact it pops when switched...but I would rather be able to deal with that and not have to take the unit off my board & disassemble it. No real big deal though.
Oh, I also love the big front mounted speed knob which is fun to turn with your foot!

I'm using this with an old Dean V with a Duncan Custom Custom in the bridge and a Dimarzio Air Norton in the neck. That runs into a Fulltone Clyde wah, BB Preamp, Mojovibe then to a Bogner Shiva running EL34s.
For cabs I have an open back small Shiva 212 with V30's and a big, heavy closed back Workhorse 212 loaded with ancient greenbacks.
The sound is killer, but with this guitar is a bit too warm and bassy with the Mojovibe set to vintage. I don't understand the one reviewer saying the vintage mode was "too bright". That makes no sense!
Mind you I played my friend's EJ strat through it in vintage mode and it was perfect...so till I can afford a wicked strat like that I will run it in modern mode to bring out the clarity and high end a bit.
Again this is why I think the switch should be mounted externally...different guitars=different switch setting...
I am reserving a "10" rating till I've heard the Megavibe. Let the best vibe win! This one sounds pretty killer though

Seems very well built and I depend on ALL my stuff without a backup! Jesus!...who can afford TWO of everything they own? I find this "backup thing" to be laughable for the average musician who can barely scrape together the cash to buy gear in the first place. So NO I will be depending on it!

I'll be honest here, I really have been drooling over the KR Megavibe and placed my order now over a year ago. I ordered this Mojovibe to tide me over and it arrived in a couple weeks (ahem!...)
And it sounds great!
Will I still buy a Megavibe? Yes dammit I will... And if it doesn't sound like God and destroy this pedal (which I'm seriously beginning to doubt), I will SELL THE MEGAVIBE ON EBAY to some poor chap in the UK for TWICE THE NEW PRICE and laugh my way to the bank! Does this make me a BAD PERSON? Nope, that's just how the world works (ain't it great?) If Mr. Randall doesn't like it, he should quit his ******** and hire some people to help build these pedals, just FIGURE IT OUT. At least get some software to send customers CONFIRMATIONS that their orders were received! OK, I'll shut up now! lol
All in all I think this pedal is a great score. Quick and easy to acquire, no ******** dealing with tempermantal builders (ha!), well built & solid construction, sounds great! What more do you want? Well, there's ALWAYS more...but this is pretty sweet. Go get one!

I bought the Mojo Vibe after spending nights and days comparing univibe clips on the web, so I hope I am gonna save you some sleep... For crunch/distortion no other univibes can stand next to a mojo vibe. I will always suggest it to everybody for the simple fact that it should become a priority for every guitarist nowadays, and I consider it the most important pedal in my board, this pedal is a lesson for every major pedal company.
A Mojo Vibe in "modern mode" makes shine every other fuzz or OD after. In my experience the Vintage mode is too bright compared to the modern mode, I have a Marshall JVM 410 (crunch "green mode", everything at 12 o' clock and reverb at zero), Mojo Vibe (modern mode, trim pot at 11 o clock, volume at 3 o clock, and intensity wherever you like), Butler Tubedriver, lovepedal COT 50, Sunface NKT, Dunlop JH-F1, and I find myself never using the Tubedriver (wich says it all). I put the mojo vibe and the cot50 before the fuzz, and it sounds absolutely huge, crispy and warm.
You can use it also just to color your tone with the speed knob set to zero. When it's on it's like lifting a dam from a river, amazing!

As I said, I have only great pedals (Mojo Vibe, Sunface NKT 275, Tube driver, COT 50, JH-F1, Octafuzz, ISP Decimator) and I consider the Mojo Vibe as the most important one.

This is the bomb!!! Not as chorus-like as the MegaVibe. More akin to the MXR Phase 90. The MJV NAILS the David Gilmour vibe to the T! His has always been my favorite. It's equipped with a switch to go from "modern" to "vintage"... I prefer the vintage. I have both the MegaVibe, and the MojoVibe. They both sound fantastic - but if i had to choose between the two - the Mojo gets my vote hands-down. The MegaVibe is a bit compressed, and cuts-off you high-end input signal... This is a huge No-No when your going for that "Pigs" (Three Different Ones) sound.

The best of the best IMO. I would buy another without question. I've been playing for 30 years, and I know a great sounding pedal when I play one. If your looking for that ultra-cool David Gilmour type Leslie effect - the Mojo Vibe is it! I've compared this to other low-grade vibes that just don't stand up. It largest competitor is the the KR MegaVibe. I prefer the Mojo. I've got a FoxRox Aqua Vibe on order - so I'll see how it stacks-up against the mighty MojoVibe. But that's another review...

ease of getting good sounds: not hard at all. set the volume anywhere from 8 to max for unity (less for quieter), set chorus or vibrato depending on what you like, intensity where you'd like, and use your foot to control the speed. anyone who thinks it's not easy to get a good sound out of this is probably an idiot.

running it near the beginning of my pedalboard. fender deluxe players mim or fender highway 1 tele into rmc6 wheels of fire, sweet sound mojovibe, danelectro tremolo, barber ltd, fulltone ocd, lovepedal roadhouse eternity, korg pitchblack, hardwire dl-8 all into fender super reverb reissue. george l cables.
the unit sounds phenomenal on most settings. at very high speeds and intensity, the swirling is too intense for me to use but does a good take on a leslie cab at a hgih speed with low intensity. it does the hendrix and trower thing really well.
it adds a little bit of mojo (hence the name) to your sound which i think is a little bit of warmth/bass. compared to the voodoo labs microvibe, this pedal sounds 10x better. the microvibe is a little brittle and cold sounding.
works great with all my pedals.

never had to deal with bob sweet and now that he's gone (rip mr. sweet, a god amongst tone chasers) i guess there won't be anymore support for it. but no need because this unit is like a diamond. i will bet money that it'll last at least another 6 years.

playing the typical bluesy rock kinda thing, this pedal works great for me. i don't think i could ever sell this thing (unless the prices become so inflated that i afford a klon and a fulltone deja vibe off it). it's a staple on my board.
it also has an internal dip switch that doesn't get mentioned too often. it's switches from a vintage to a modern setting. i like it most on the vintage but modern sounds fantastic as well.
if i lost it, i probably wouldn't be able to buy it again. but if i ever found one at a reasonable price, i would definitely jump all over it. otherwise, the fulltone deja works great too.

This is my second review of this product...why? well I was putting together a smaller board and soon realized that Mojo Vibe had become my sound. Fortunately Analogman had one Swirly left that I snagged as there aren't many floating around given Bob's condition = Please Pray for Bob!! Anyway, this little pedal has become my sound and no board would be complete without a little Mojo Vibe in the house

Easy to use and understand. It has a nice large speed knob for in song speed changes. I got the swirly one and it looks really cool and actually makes it easier to find your settings. You can hook up an volume pedal to manually change the rate, but I just use my foot on the speed knob and it works great.

I am using a typical classic rock setup with a vintage style Fender Stratocaster > sunface fuzz>picture wah> Mojo Vibe> xotic effects AC+> tc electronics nova delay. Pedal is not very noisy if you use a REGULATED power supply. Sound is fantastic and I find myself using it for slow blues and many of the songs I am writing.
I am using a Victoria 20112 and a Victorilux for amps and it plays well with all my equipment. It gets all the typical Jimi, Robin and David Gilmour sounds but with the intensity knob you can use it for many other styles. I just love the sound and have been trying for too long to get this sound out of phasers/chorus/flangers. They dont sound as nice as my Mojo Vibe!

I wrote to the company asking for advice and didn't get a return. I then found out that Bob Sweet has cancer and has a bigger problem to deal with than my questions. I bought the unit anyway due to the Fulltone unit sounding a little sterile after a short while.

A great match for classic rock and blues. I find myself using it much more than I thought I would. I love the sound and even my wife notices and commented on the tone. I have been after this tone since I heard Robin and Jimi even before I started playing back in 1980. I cant believe it took so long to find out about the Mojo Vibe.
I compared it to the Deja Vibe and found it lacking. It may be more authentic or what ever, but the Mojo sounds better. I would like to have tried the Ultra Vibe II, but it was more than I wanted to spend.
I wish the case was shaped a bit more like the fulltone, but the small footprint is nice. I do wish the LED was in a different location and was a bit brighter.

I've been playing around with my setup a bit. It's now in third place, in my signal chain. First there's a Fulltone '69 fuzz, then a Dunlop Jimi Hendrix wah, then comes my Mojo Vibe. I noticed that it tends to sound a bit on the bright side with a buffered effect in front of it. In my present setup it sounds best, to my ears. Always use it with the neck/middle pickups of my strat and tele, for some reason. I use it in front of a Brunetti MC2, three channel all tube combo amp. Even with the high gain channel engaged. The Mojo Vibe NEVER cases problems in terms of excess noise. Sounds like cold shot, Michael Katon, Robin Trower, Hendrix and what have you...
At first i just used the chorus position, which is just great. Been getting into the vibrato side as well, lately. Sounds great and is fun to play with.

I play in cover bands that play everything, except metal. It sure has found its way into my playing, allthough it cant replace a "normal" chorus. It doesn't do that eighties sound. Doesn't matter, i've got that covered anyway. If it were stolen or lost, i would get this one again. Did i tell you i love it???? I compared it to the Roger Mayer VooDoo Vibe, which is a serious piece of gear. But the R.M. had too many knobs and functions. Othershootout was against the Fulltone Deja Vibe, which sounded slightly thinner. You just don't want that, when you're playing strat and tele. This is the Vibe to have, in my opinion.
I have to state once again that it doesn't sound as good as it can, with a buffered effectspedal in front of it. Sounds good already, but a bit bright.Good if yoy want to use the modern sound, which the internal buffer can also provide. I just like the vintage sound better. That's why i've put true bypass effects in front of it. Still use buffered effects after it, because there's a 30 foot cable between my pedal board and my amp. ;)

Amazing Amazing Vibe. I love this pedal. I had the old Ultra Vibe. This one is just as good if not better. It has the Vintage/ Modern Option on the inside you can change. Both sound Super! Just make sure you have a good quality power supply 9 volt Neg tip. I used a radio shack one and it does hum, so i got a better Power supply and it's quiet and perfect. Get rid of the Radio shack adapter. This Univibe has perfect effect and sounds great with other pedals...
