Have used it with different guitars : Gibson Lp-Custom,Gibson Lp Jr.,Fender Tele,Jerry Jones lipstick-pickup's.
I used TB in many different positions in the pedal-chain,think it's important to place TB after:(overdrive, distortion, fuzz)and before (delay,reverb,chorus)...If placed like this,it's very quit.I've only found it noisy, when treble-eq is pushed to max,or when used/placed in wrong position.I used both:Trace Elliot Velocette,Soldano SL60,
T-rex Bigtone T25..

Couldn't be easier. Two separate boost channels, each with own EQ and level of boost. Set your tone with the EQ controls, then set the volume for that channel. The EQ controls light up to indicate which channel is on. I recently played a gig literally 4 doors down from the music store that i bought it from. During soundcheck, got the call the pedal had arrived. Walked into the shop, walked back to the pub, hooked it into my signal chain and had it up and running before end of soundcheck.

My setup is: Strat or Ibanez RG --> VOX Tonelab --> Twin Boost --> Marshall MG100 Head and Quad.
I play in a cover band, my tonelab handles all of the sounds i need and then whatever sound i am on gets boosted by the Twin Boost all before the input on my amp which is always on the clean channel. I didn't notice any noise in my sound that wasn't supposed to be there. My signal is very simple and the tonelab has a very nice noisegate in it which keeps my signal noise free anyway. I have set the first boost channel for a flat EQ with what feels like approx. 3-6db boost. The same boost level for the second boost channel but with more pronounced bottom and mids. Interestingly i note that this boost pedal when pulled right back to minimum doesn't CUT volume like some other boost pedals i still have. Right from the lowest setting this pedal seems to only boost. I set both level controls to 9 o'clock and it works great. Haven't needed to push it past that point yet but suffice to say it will boost your signal a lot if you require it too. Don't know if it's true bypass or not but i can't notice a change in my tone when it is off.

Built like a brick. Not sure how durable the transparent plastic EQ nobs are but otherwise seems well constructed. A pedal in this price range should last a long time, and i expect this one to be no different.

I have been interested in this pedal for months, furiously searching the web for any reviews and forums that mentioned it. It has opened up some possibilities for me that i didn't expect. (two different levels of boost, use it as two separate eq pedals with the boost level off etc...)
Very attractive pedal. I wanted to stand on it all night. If it was lost or flogged, i would get another in a heart beat.
The only gripe with this pedal, is that the battery compartment design is very difficult to fit a battery to the terminal lead. The door comes off easily using a guitar pick, but actually connecting the battery is very difficult. Not a drastic problem as you can always use an adaptor, and in a practical live sound application, the battery backup won't help much if you lose power and your amp won't turn on. Would give it a 10 for this category if this problem was resolved.

Easy as pie to set up.
Good manual, but they dont mention that this unit will induce large amounts of white noise... why should they?
Shame, because it??s exactly that, that makes this pedal unusable.

SHAME ON YOU T-REX ENGINEERING!!!
How can they expect anyone to use this, that is serious about their tone?
This thing induces so much white noise into your signal, that it is just embarrasing the moment you switch it on!
I tried this with my own equipment, PRS Johnny Hiland into a Marshall 18watt HW1974X combo. My guitar and amp are otherwise perfectly quiet. Vovox and Evidence Audio cables.

Am fortunate to have a 10' x 12' room for my guitars and amps. Just hard walls and carpeting on the floor. Setup was direct into several tube amps or in front of my effects pedal board. While it does increase the signal strength and perhaps add a little sparkle it simply made too much noise. I complained to the dealer and he sent me a second one as replacement. Same problem. Just too much hiss or white noise to make this usable for me. The worst was in front of a JCM 2000 (50 watts) but also very bad in ffront of my 57 Deluxe. It's too bad because I really wanted this to work. In a real studio, this may not be a problem. On the pedal board, any pedals that were turned on following the Twin Boost just amplified the white noise.

Hard to answer this one. Have had the T-Rex replica for a year now with no issues (and it's quiet). If the white noise generation in the Twin is a product of design, this should probably be a high mark (cause they did a good job). Both units worked exactly the same as well as both chanels on each unit I tried. The initial level setting were at about 9:00 and for me, the noise was unacceptable. At the 12:00 setting, it was in competition with the sound of the guitar. Also tried diferent cables and different guitars. They even made the same amount of noise with no guitar pluged in.

For something that costs $200.00, it should have sounded a lot better than it did. And pedals are suppose to sound good, right? Thus my overall rating has to be weighted heavily for the quality of the sound.

Set the amount of boost you want and set the tone controls as you desire. The tone knobs light up when you stomp on that side showing you which side is activated. Nothing much else, its all pretty self-explanatory.

I was very impressed with the Twin Boost. It adds a raw character to my sound and really tightens everything up, almost like a very musical compression. I did have a few problems with it though. There isn't a whole lot of boost so it's pretty tough to boost a clean channel into medium crunch. Also, the tone controls are rather subtle, except for the bass control. I use it with my Gibson Les Paul Studio into a Fulltone OCD V3, MI Audio Crunch Box, and Skreddy Zero then into my Peavey Classic 30 and it just clarifies and punches everything through. I also didn't really notice any noise, which is surprising for a boost pedal.

I bought it slighty used but I hear good things about T-Rex pedals. It seems very reliable and sturdy. I did notice that one stomp switch seems to take more pressure to push it down than the other one, but it's not a big deal.

I play blues, rock, and hard rock and this pedal can do all of this and more I'm sure. If it were lost or stolen I would buy it, but probably not knew because it is pretty pricey. Overall, its a great pedal, but not your typical boost pedal. I also really like the EQ onboard, more boost pedals should have this feature.
