BEFORE I SAY ANYTHING CHECK THIS PEDAL'S NEW PRICE AND YOU WON'T BELIEVE THAT THIS IS REALLY HAPPEENING!
Very easy to use, three knobs, real univibe sound! Manual is simple, this pedal is a simple, but very impressive one! Two modes: vibrato/chorus, just like on other vibe-pedals. Vibrato is cool, but chorus is the one you want!

I use it with my old guitar and an old tube-amp. Noisy? It is, but that's the point: modulation!
Sounds good with ts-9!!! It nails the ones who had used the vibe back in the 70's.

I don't have backup for this, but I guess I wouldn't need it, it is well build, even though quite light, not more than 400 grams in the box with the adaptor and manual..

Very nice guys, they reply. The original price range, 300 bucks or more was ridiculously too much for it, but now it is on sale!

It is one wicked trippy-psychedelic, cool swirling stompbox! A must have for Hendrix-fans! I have been playing for more than 15 years. Only pedal that could be mentioned on the same page would be the Fulltone Deja and the Mojo-Vine. Dunlop is ok, but MXR and other low-cost ones aren't even close. Yep, I would get one if it was stolen! I have tried a lot of other vibe pedals, believe me that is the ONE! It will give you enough inspiration to make new licks if you are goofing around with this baby! If it was stolen, I'd get another one, specially because: T-TEX HAS LOWERED THE PRICE for something like 110 Euros! (SO DO NOT FALL FOR THE 320+ USD PRICE RANGE!!!) THIS PEDAL IS ON SALE EVERYWHERE IN EUROPE, SO GET ONE!!!
For this price it is a steal! Worth it, I promise!

Very easy to use, there is no mojo, simple just like any other Vibe Pedals, 3 knobs, nice big chickenhead ones. There is an extra trim-pot on the bottom of the pedal, which is quite a unique addition, very useful on the other hand!!!! (You can adjust the intensity of the modulation from decent phase-like tones to psychedelic swirl madness, infinite vortex - very touch-responsive trimmer)! There are two modes: chorus (vibe) and vibrato. The vibrato is a cool effect, but not something which would be useful in my music, therefore I leave it switched on the chorus function. Nevertheless, both of them make the pedal sound really cool.

I use this pedal in conjunction with a Fulldrive, a Vox wah, an Octave pedal and a delay sometimes. I keep it simple to prevent signal loss. I have ******** of pedals, but the more pedals you have in the chain the easier it is the screw up the sound.. I have always thought that vibe pedals are only sound good with strats and teles, but no Sir, I use it with my beefy sounding old Gibson lp standard! The sound quality is perfect when it comes to uni-vibe tone, there is only one downer with the equipment: huge popping sound when I switch it on! It requires a special adapter, but luckily it is included in the box if you buy the Viper brand new. One very interesting thing about the Viper Vibe: IT EVEN SOUNDS BETTER WITH A LITTLE OVERDRIVE! No kidding, it does!
Great Hendrix, Frampton tones! It really nails Audley Freed's vibe sounds on the second Cry Of Love album: Diamonds and Debris, which I just love!!! (I bet he was using a Deja-vibe that time, but it really nails it!)

So far so good, touch wood! I haven't had a problem since I had bought it! I am a little concerned about this popping sound though.. Noisy? Well, it is, but who cares, what do you expect from a modulation pedal? Even if it uses an extra 12 V adapter! Yes I depend on it, cause no other choice there is. Cannot afford a backup right now, but I believe in T-Rex quality! If the danish guys let me down, shame on them!

I had to write a letter to the support about this loud popping sound when switching on.. Well... They replied in time, very kind they were, but that guy's english was simply horrible! They were trying to say something like it happens because of true-bypass switching...I am sorry to say, but could barely understood the reply. Anyway, doesn't matter, at least in contrary to certain manufacturers they DO reply if you have problems!
I have heard both good and bad things about T-REX, well the stuff they are making are indeed impressive, just a good fuzz is missing!

I have been playing for a while, something like for 15+ years. I have been always digging Henrdix, The Black Crowes, Cry Of Love, and so on.. I have spent such a long time to get a nice rotary-speaker kindda effect or a Uni-Vibe clone. Now it seems that I have found the one! I had a Rotovibe, but it had to go, tried the Dunlop Uni-Vibe, but was expensive. I bought an wicked H&K Rotosphere 2 years ago, someone was selling that tube-driven baby for a very good price in Germany, and it was a steal, I am using it in studio, but on my pedal-board there is the Viper now! I would buy another one if it was stolen till it is on sale at our local dealer. I find it overpriced for 325 USD, but it is worth it for 160-200 bucks! I bought mine BRAND NEW for 160 USD approximately! So you might wonder where I live? That is the tricky question, you have to find it out! (Somewhere in Europe, in a tiny country with a T-Rex dealer)
The pedal itself looks awesome, I have always loved snakes, and it has a very cool snake-skin pattern box. So light this pedal is, so I would not be surprised if some of them suspicious geeks were having doubts about the effect's quality and design, but I don't care, I plug my guitar in it, step on it, and there it goes: Uni-Vibe madness, a trip back to the early 70's!!!
It already helped me making some new licks for new songs! I guess it inspires everyone when you find a pedal you have been looking for!
So briefly it is a very good uni-vibe kindda stompbox, get it if you find it in a good price! It still is a bit overpriced at most of the places and it is a bit noisy, but as I have mentioned before it is a modulation pedal, a little noise is OK. Otherwise it is a seriously great stuff!

Very Easy to use, only three knobs, Depth, Speed and Level, and a "clean" vibe option, of which I find no real need for. Sometimes, if you are not getting the sound you are looking for, adjust one knob and it changes everything. Big chickenhead knobs make this an easy task.

The T-Rex Viper provides a lush and full vibe sound.
It is totally stellar, with OD or with the clean channel.
Sounds great with compression added on top.

I have never had a problem with the vibe functioning abnormally.
Use the adaptor or use input 5 or 6 on the PP2 with the DIP switch set from away from normal and its all good! This is the only vibe you will ever need, trust.

Relatively easy. 3 knobbies plus a mini switch for chorus/vibrato and a trim pot on the bottom. Specs can be found in the T-Rex website. Pretty standard stuff.
Oh, and it only works with the supplied 12v power supply. That's just nasty.

I'm using it with an old fender strat, a good tube combo and a host of quality stompboxes.
The Viper is quite noisy which is rather outrageous considerings its price.
The effect itself is wonderful, standard univibe stuff. It doesn't f##ck up the sound of your guitar and amp and the ability to boost the signal is a big plus.
The trimpot is also a nice addition to the pedal.
Great univibe sounds, but quite noisy and expensive.

Horrible. My Viper is on the way back to Denmark to be replaced.
The depth pot was crackly, the mini switch didn't work and neither did the trimpot on the bottom. I'm pretty disappointed.
