Ease of Use : 10
So obviously easy to use without the manual which is avail for download from tc themselves.

Sound Quality : 10
Clear as a bell, have used it on countless instruments in so many situations.
It's the best eq I have ever used.

Reliability : 10
I've been using it since I bought it in the 80's.
Pots just starting to show wear.
But only just. Nothing a little blast air thru the unit wouldn;t fix.
This stuff's hardy

Customer Support : 10
TC let me register the old serial# and they still carry pdf manual.

Overall Rating : 10
Mainly used on bass.
It's like having several basses.
I use it in the studio and not one engineer knows it's on. They never could tell, it's so clean.

Ease of Use : 10
Nicely laid out, yet small pedal with Gain, Treble and two sets of parametric e.q. (Freq., Bandw., Function), small on/off switch. Runs on 9 - 18V.

Sound Quality : 10
Phantastic, clean sonic quality - no hiss, no artefacts, just clear, powerful e.q.ing in a compact format. I use it mainly for acoustic guitar and know a lot of players that use it for other acoustic instruments like upright bass, but it works well on electric of course. The clean boost is as good as in my t.c. booster/line driver pedal of course.

Reliability : 10
Made in the 80's and still working flawlessly, top notch Danish quality.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Are they reissueing this?

Overall Rating : 10
The only parametric and the best allover e.q. pedal available - period.

Great product and very simple to use.It seems to me very strange that it has never been reviewed before.

Sound Quality : 10
Excellent sound quality. It's really like buying another amp, because you can shape your tone any different way you want.To be more specific,I'm using it together with a Parker MidiFly guitar,a Mesa/Boogie DC-3 combo amp,a Lexicon LXP-15 II effects processor and some other pedals. What I like to do is using two lead sounds:the lead channel of my amp(which sounds great to me),and the slightly different lead sound I'm getting through the lead channel of the DC-3 together with the TC DPE.To change between these two sounds(because the TC DPE is not a true bypass pedal and it hasn't a bypass switch, too) I use a Barge Concepts VFB-2 bypass looper, and the job is done correctly.

Conclusion:Parametric equalization can really improve your tone dramatically!

Reliability : 10
Surely dependable.

Customer Support : No Opinion

Overall Rating : 10
I haven't tried any other parametric equalizer pedals of the market, but I can assure you that this one is a pedal that has it all, certainly one of the best. It's something like the short pedal version of the TC Electronic 1140 parametric eq,which is also a great product(as all the vintage TC units).Wherever you find one,buy it.
