Ease of Use : 10
This pedal is without Question the easiest pedal to use. no silly frills just responsive. clear instruction. The output control will be a god send to all users of compressors. This is not a pedal to be scared of.

Sound Quality : 10
Using this with an Fender jazz and P bass, Krammer bass and warwick thumb. Through a Ashdown Evo lll 900 rig. Across all basses the sound is enhanced. the output acts as a preamp, which can be very very useful.

Reliability : 10
This thing could be dropped from the top of a mountain. The foot switch is such a pleasure to press. you really no its on. Even the green light is cool

Customer Support : 10
when i ordered this the guy was so nice and explained everything. has even e-mailed since to check i was happy.

Overall Rating : 10
I have been playing for 25 years, live work and studio work. i have been waiting for a compressor like this for years. for this reason. i have used various compressors over the years and this is the first one that has the subtle controls i have been looking for. it has depth and warmth, that is usually only found in a very expensive piece of studio equipment. i cannot compare this product to any other as there is nothing like it. i can see why bands like radiohead use this stuff.

hands down the best compressor ever.
it is transparent, musical, fat, rough & sweet

Sound Quality : 10
it is not neutral.it colours my tone in a very appealing musical way.

Reliability : 10
this compressor is built like a tank.the best build quality i have ever seen in a compact guitar pedal, and i see a lot of pedals.
fun to recognize that it does not use any kind of chips or opamp, thought this is exclusive to highend studio equipment.
do know better now.

Customer Support : 10
have ordered it and did not need any further help.
future will tell but so far top-notch.

Overall Rating : 10
as said in the beginning this is the BEST COMPRESSOR PEDAL i have ever heard.
i have a keeley wich i like for certain things as well as my beloved barber for other things but i see them covered by dust in my pedal drawer soon.

Ease of Use : 10
This unit is a germanium powered guitar compressor based on an optical element. It offers three controls; - Threshold, Dry Feed, and Gain. Like all compressors, it takes a little time and patience to ajust the unit to different guitar and amp setups.

Sound Quality : 10
This is the most straightforward, honest sounding compressor I have come across in my 3 decades of professional playing. The TK 23 works like a compressor but doesn't sound like one. The optical circuit reduces peaks and fills in lows without breaking up the sound character. The "Dry Feed" circuit is more than a a side chain, offering an adjustable attack keeping the signal alive and dynamic with a beautiful sparkle over the top.

Reliability : No Opinion
Built in Berlin Germany like a Mercedes Benz. Understatement outside and the best possible inside. No problems yet.

This is a small shop. They seem always happy for feedback.

Overall Rating : 10
You pay, I play, since the seventies. I like a compressor around when I play with big bands or have to fit my sound around additional guitars on stage. I started out with MXR and ended with Companova. They're good units, but the dynamics reduction was a handicap playing fills or solos and had to be bypassed. I leave the TK-23 on at all times, exept for extreme sound effects. Daddys little helper!!

Compressor stomp box, three knobs: threshold, dry feed and output. The dry feed gently tweaks the attack of the note to make it sound less processed.

Telenordia claims that due to it's germanium-based design you cannot run it on a common power supply with more "modern" stomp boxes. Something you'll have to live with.

Sound Quality : 10
The TK-23 is a compressor pedal based on a germanium transistor circuit with an opto-element. This results in instantly warm, fat and musical compression sounds that range from subtle limiting to audible pumping. Works great with humbuckers and P90's. Colors the sound in a nice way: haunting, slightly dark yet transparent character - or should I say "personality"? Has a little hiss like all compressors but not more like a TRex Compnova e.g.

Reliability : 10
Looks raw and simple on the outside and really well made inside. Top notch. Everything done with attention to detail down to the pilot lamp.

Telenordia is a new company from Berlin/Germany. All of their pedal designs are based on germanium circuits. Nice website: telenordia.de

Tried the pedal and bought it - period.

Overall Rating : 10
A compressor with an attitude, warm, musical and not sterile. Not cheap, but well made and worth it. I tried the pedal almost by accident while shopping around for other things and was hooked - nuff said.
