Ease of Use : 10
This is their version of ye olde TS. Just like the original, it's perfectly easy to use- Drive, Tone, and Level controls- same order, even. Except this one is true bypass.

Sound Quality : 9
I have the major food groups when it comes to guitars- Tele, Strat, LP, SG, Gibson hollowbody (135), Ibanez shredder, Marshall DSL, a couple old Fenders, etc. Yeah, pretty traditional stuff. Tried this pedal with most guitar-amp combinations and it's KILLER. I have a TS-9 RI from the '90s, and this fixes all the things I didn't like about the TS-9, especially the bass loss issue. The Texas Flood will get cleaner with the Drive rolled off than the TS-9; just about perfectly clean, in fact, with low- medium output pickups. But I personally don't use it like that; sensibly, I use a clean boost for that (never got why one would use an overdrive pedal as a clean boost!). And the Texas Flood sounds WAY better with the Drive control all the way up. I have no issue with the normalized low end causing my Fender amps' lower register to get 'farty' (heh). Another thing I never got was why Ibanez dinged the bass so bad with the 808 and TS-9 (I think it was by accident, not by design, and people made excuses). But anyway, the Texas Flood KILLS the original. I'm giving it a 9 and not a 10 because TS's aren't my favorite OD type.

Reliability : 10
Had it since the beginning of this year. No issues, so I guess it warrants a 10.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never dealt with them.

Overall Rating : 9
I play a variety of styles- I get bored easily. Been playing since the late '70s. I remember playing both the 808 and the TS-9 in the early '80s, and I thought they were the bees' knees at the time, but quite frankly there are much better things these days- like the Texas Flood, which is both cheaper and smaller than the 808 RI!
