Easy? If you've got feet, you're in business!!!
I had my custom "Double-Wide" hard top made to the exact specs I wanted...It's an old school Fender motif with an Oxblood grill, like a Vibro-King or an old Bandmaster. I got the A/C on the side for easy power distribution...and leather handles on the side( a sweet touch! ).
I got the DIY type of board, i'll do all the wiring and pedal-mounting myself...I don't suggest this option for most folks, it's a lot of work...James is a professional, let him do it for you.

I guess if I dropped it, then it would make some kind of sound.
I haven't installed my effects just yet, i've still got a few more pedals to pick up first, then the real fun begins!
So far i've got a Fulltone Supa-Trem, an Xotic RC Booster, a Visual Sound H2O chorus/delay, Voodoo Lab Pedal Power II (to be hidden underneath, another kick ass feature), 1 - three switch Loooper and two single Loooper pedals (so I never have to step on my effects, just the Looopers), and a Korg DT-10 tuner. I plan on adding one more Supa-Trem and a Keeley Compressor.
I run my pedals into a Carr Imperial 4x10...very clean, clear and loud!

I feel that the Trailer Trash pedalboards are the most unique and rugged boards around, and i've had all of the other boards on the market.
I still remember seeing them at the NAMM show this past January, and being blown away by the style and function of these amazing creations.
I can't imagine needing a backup, but I should would love to have another one!!! After much deliberation, I opted for the soft case, very strong, very stylish (great logo!)...i'm so glad I did.
I have yet to gig out with it, but i'm very confident that it'll be with me for years to come.

Here's where Trailer Trash pedalboards wipes out the competition...
James "Rooster" Olson has to be one of the most patient, kind, helpful, and downright good 'ol boys you would ever want to do business with.
I was very specific about the look I was trying to achieve with my board, he listened, offered very helpful suggestions, and even steered me in new directions that further helped to make my pedalboard the true "one of a kind" board I always wanted.

Overall Rating : 10
I play sort of a country meets surf meets swing kind of music, and I wanted a unique pedalboard to go with my style of playing.
I can't say enough about how happy I am with this pedalboard, it's everything I wanted and more!!!

Everything is professionally wired up and ready to go. On my board I opted to have the pedals permanently mounted to the top. For someone who plans on swapping out pedals often, you should go with the cloth top. The best part of the board concerning ease would have to be the outlets on each side of the board. I had an extra courtesy outlet add to the side as well. You plug one cable from the board into a plug and you're up and running! All is wired underneath the board, so you can't see any ugly wires etc. straggling about. The courtesy outlet allows me to plug an amp, light, or anything into the other side of the board, and it all runs through a single power cable.

This board is one of the finest hand-crafted items I've seen built. I can put a good amount of weight on my glow top without any problems at all. I could probably stand on it if I dared. Compared to boards I've had in the past, this is the nicest piece of equipment I've ever had - or even seen used on stage for that matter. I would most definately use this without a backup. The only other backup I would consider would be another trailer-trash board. If Trailer Trash boards are being used by Rascal Flatts and other top players, they must be reliable.

Trailer Trash Pedalboards is great to work with. They took my ideas, and we made a dream design come to life. I was even sent detailed pictures of the board before I was able to play it. I haven't had the opportunity to have repairs, etc. but from my experience so far, a warranty issue would most likely not be a problem dealing with them.

Overall my experience was absolutely amazing. We thought up an idea, and after seeing the pictures of the board, the overall design exceeded my expectations. I went with a Custom Board - Double Wide Dr. Z red tolex look with blue lighting. For any professional musician, this is the "cat's meow" of custom boards. I searched and searched and never found anything in this category until I found Trailer Trash. If this board were stolen, I would most definately buy another. There isn't anything else out that that is quite the quality OR the look.

I love the overall look. I haven't found anything that I hate quite yet. Everything that I said "if I could change..." on, we were actually able to change it to look like I wanted. My favorite feature is probably the lighting effect. I believe there are quite a few color options to chose from now also.
