Ease of Use : 10
It doesn't get easyer or more portable than this.

Sound Quality : No Opinion
As others have said, it doesn't directly effect sound quality. But any time you can hear your amp -and see the controls you make the improvment.

Reliability : 10
Using it with a Carvin AG100D amp, 17 1/2 w x 12 d x 22h and 35 lbs.
I leave the amp on it for hours at a time, no problems at all. I can't imagine this won't hold up well where ever I take it.

Customer Support : 10
OUTSTANDING. A rivet was misaligned and the two halfs came apart. A phone call and a new strap assembly was sent to me promptly. I'm shure it was just an "oops" with their rivet machine, and they took care of it. They didn't ask where I got it, how long I used it, the y just took care of it. Thank you Jason for great service!

Overall Rating : 10
If I ever get a second amp, I'll need a second standback. I hope these guys are around for a long time.

Man, this thing was piece of cake. Slipped it out of the plastic and my Bassman was ready to tilt. Read the directions though as for once, the guys at triad must have written it from a user point of view. Awesome!!

Sound Quality : 10
Dude- where's my amp been? Threw the standback on and Hello, That's why I paid all that money for my amp. What Genius in simplicity this thing is. Totally keeps ALL the bass "grounded" and therefore all that resonance and resonant feedback to the amp itself. Marvelous!

Reliability : 10
NO issues. Holds this little beast (4X10) with no worries. Also holds our Singer's Hot Rod Deville (he got one too) with no hassle. They stay on there as well in our practice space.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Jason was great when I had a question. He talked me through the origin of the product and he really seems to have a overall knowledge of the guitar and amp world. I hear he rips on Geetar as well.

Overall Rating : 10
What can I say. Brilliant in its' simplicity. from the stage it is impossible to see how the amps are leaning back so I often get aquestions. A killer little deal. Very well priced too.

Easy set up and take down. Great design.
Great manual

Sound Quality : 10
Improves sound of your amp. You can hear that sweet spot in front of your amp.
Palomino V3212 (a little bigger than a Fender twin)

Reliability : 10
Well built design.

Customer Support : 10
Extreamly helpful and friendly. Quick to answer any question you might have.

Overall Rating : 10
I love the Standback. It is the perfect solution for amps that do not have tilt-back legs. I am so glad triad thought of this. It makes so much sense. You will hear you amp like you never heard it before.

This product was really easy to use out of the box - so long as you RTFM! Getting it set up the first time was a tad tricky, but once you've done it one time, you'll be doing it blindfolded in no time. The manual is extremely clear and easy to read, and its all you'll ever need to get this thing set up.

Sound Quality : 9
I've been using the standback to support a Fender Hot Rod Deville.I'd been using these cheapo speaker stands from ikea previously, and whilst they did the job well enough, they weren't easy to bring around, and I did notice a slight loss of bass. This stand definitely enhances the coupling effect and improves the amp's bass response, plus the variety of tilt angles greatly helps me to position the amp such that I can hear it clearly.

Reliability : 8
This stand is pretty sturdy, I've had it hold up my amp for hours without much problem. I've even managed to use it to hold up a 4x12 cab! The only thing you ought to watch out for is not to leave your amp on the standback overnight - it definitely cannot take the prolonged strain. I left my amp on the standback overnight last weekend, and came back in the morning to find my amp flat on the floor. Thank God the amp was alright! Other than that, its still a pretty solid product, and I'm defiitely still using it!

Customer Support : 10
I'd give an 11 if I could, but I'll have to settle for a 10. The guys at Triad were nothing short of being absolutely sweet! They were always polite and helpful, and their emails never sounded curt or rushed. I felt really special, considering that I'm not from the States, and most of the Stateside companies I've dealt with either send very curt email responses, or are highly suspicious of anyone from Asia (a big boo on you! we're not all conmen you know!). Working with these guys was a real joy from start to finish. Great job guys!

Overall Rating : 9
This amp serves my needs well - I use it in my rehearsal space, as well as at shows. Like I said before, it holds up my Hot Rod Deville very well (unless its left overnight, of course), and it can even hold up a 4x12 cabinet. I'd strongly recommend this to any touring musician who needs a tilt back stand for his amplifier.

Ease of Use : 10
This stand (really more of an amp tilt-back) is so easy to use...out of the box and supporting my amp within minutes. It comes with very clear instructions and can easily be adjusted to fit various sizes of amplifiers. What a great alternative to the conventional amp tilt-back legs (or the shaky luggage stand I was using)...and it can be moved from amp to amp if desired!

Sound Quality : 10
Sound quality...I guess it sounds pretty good. I've not had a chance to plug in since I got this, but I hear from others that it enhances low frequencies since the amplifier remains on the ground. Time will tell, and I'll update when I get a chance

Reliability : 10
Seems very solid and well built. I'd use this item without a backup with confidence.

Customer Support : 10
Haven't dealt with the company yet, but I hear they're great people to call upon if necessary.

Overall Rating : 10
I play a variety of music, but mostly jazz right now. I play both guitar (mostly archtop, but some strat, semi-hollow, and L.P.) and use a Fender Princeton Chorus amp. I also play bass and use a Crate 50 Watt Bass Amp. This product supports both amps and tilts them to a good angle for me to more easliy hear and still get to the controls. If it were lost or stolen I'd replace it as soon as possible. I love the fact that it's so portible (fits into the back of my Fender amp), lightweight and durable. I looked at many different amp stands (read alot of bad reviews of the ultimate stand-which did seem flimsy when I saw it up close-and most other stands were so big and bulky...not what I was looking for), and am glad I chose this one!

Ease of Use : 10
Very easy to use. I suggest reading the instructions so you fold the pieces right side out.

Sound Quality : 10
I am angling my HotRod Deluxe at a little less than Fender tilt back leg specs. I do like having more bass in the mix as my last amp stand took the amp off the floor and you do lose some bass EQ. I play Blues and use American Strats, (Lone Star and Roadhouse). I use JJ tubes and have been for quite a while. Again this is an ampstand and the only reason it may affect sound quality will be a little more bass definition.

Reliability : 10
Can't tell yet. You aren't exactly putting the full weight of your amp on it so the fiber glass blades should hold up. I don't expect the snaps to come lose either. I would gig without a back up for sure

Customer Support : 10
I called about a few things and Jason was helpful, we talked a while and I never felt rushed. He even recommended a piece of equipment that he doesn't evern sell. They have phenomenal Customer Support and I expect they will always be approachable.

Overall Rating : 10
Blues, including swing, shuffles and blues standards. Been playing for 30+ years. I have a HotRod Deville 212, a peavey solid state for rehearsals..(Studio Pro), and besides my Strats I own a Sheraton 2, nice guitar by the way. I use a Boss Tremolo pan, a Boss DD1 Delay (Japan0 A Boss Reverb (Japan) and a Boss TU2 tuner. I use effects very sparingly. I would get one quick if stolen as I need it. It is quick easy, light, effective and relatively inexpensive. It is the lightest and easiest to carry amp stand on the market.

Ease of Use : 10
It is extremely simple to use. After a brief look at the instructions you place the triangle design together and place the amp over a soft piece and tilt the amp back. You can angle the amp at a number of angles. It is so small that it can travel inside the amp without any danger of damage to the speaker, etc. It will work anywhere.

Sound Quality : 10
I sold on ebay my former metal amp stand because it held the amp off the floor, thus losing the bass bottom-end of the amp. The minute I placed my amp on this, bottom end was there. I am using a '66 Vibro Champ and would have used my Blues jr on it but had placed the Fender tiltback legs on it several years back. I would not have placed the legs on the BJ if this thing had existed. It will work fine on a larger amp like a Fender Deville.

Reliability : 10
It is built strong. Nothing really to break if used properly. I can depend on it and a backup isn't necessary. It will last.

Customer Support : 10
I called Triad and was treated with professional and courteous service. All my questions were answered and the person I spoke with even sent me something extra. They were prompt and would gladly do any upgrade they might offer.

Overall Rating : 10
I play all kinds of music, but mainly contemporary Christian music. I have been with a challenging band for 9 years. This thing works for any style. I own a Les Paul, American Standard Strat with lots of upgrades, I have a '65 Twin Reverb, Tweed Blues Deville, BillM modified Blues Jr, Vox, 66 Vibro Champ, along with lots of effects. This piece of equipment is so simple and effective. I consider it one of the best components for my use. I would replace it if stolen. I did compare it to other products, but nothing was as economical and effective as this.

It doesn't get much easier than this folks. The only "trick" is getting the little foam "thingy" (technical term) centered under your amp properly. We're talking a couple of minutes here. It folds up and stores easily in my bag 'o cables.

Sound Quality : 10
As the other reviewer pointed out, this product doesn't have a sound quality of its own, per se. But I have say that after using the Standback at a gig the other night, this was the first time I've ever really heard my amp on stage. A friend in the audience also commented how well he could hear guitar in the overall band mix. I have a mid '80's Princeton Reverb with a Weber 10" speaker and NOS tubes, and I fell in love with it's tone all over again.

Reliability : 10
The product seems very sturdy; ingenious really. I've only used it at a gig once, so time will tell. It's hard to imagine what could go wrong though. The frame is very light weight and strong; the straps are tightly woven and don't seem likely to stretch. The aforementioned foam "thingy" might the one part susceptible to wear, but that remains to be seen.

Customer Support : 10
I ordered it online and it arrived very quickly (note: we're all located in the Washington D.C. area). The guys seem very excited about this product (as well they should be) and therefore eager to please. I'm glad somebody thought of this!

Overall Rating : 10
I love this stand. After years of using a milk crate "stand" and still not hearing myself very well, I couldn't be happier. Unless you've got a Fender amp with the built-in tilt back legs, this is the way to go!

There is a short instruction sheet that's very helpful getting started using the amp stand. Easy to understand, and once you've taken a look at the instructions, it's all common sense. Not a problem to set up and begin using it.

Sound Quality : No Opinion
The Beat Daddys use Pignose G40-V amps on stage and in the studio. It's a very small amp, so I was skeptical about being able to use the Standback with them. With a couple of adjustments and a little thought, the stands worked like a charm.

Reliability : 10
The Standback seems to be well made. We are using the smallest version they make, thought it looks as though it would hold my Vibrolux up easily with a quick change to the length of the straps. Very easy adjustment.

Customer Support : 10
I've called Triad several times before buying the Standback and they were very helful with all my questions. I can't imagine having to repair this stand, as it appears to be well made. Very simple product, and could probably be fixed right on the gig if something did go wrong. It would have to be badly abused to break it, I think.

Overall Rating : 10
I play blues and blues/rock styles with the Beat Daddys. Side gigs may include country, pop, whatever. I've been playing for 40 years. My main guitars: '81 Gibson 335, '81 Dean Flying V. Also have a "retired" '64 Les Paul Special, Steinberger, Older Fender Bullet. Amps: '75 Marshall 50W combo, '66 Fender Vibrolux, '63 Epiphone Pathfinder, (2) Pignose G40-V 40W amps. If lost, I would replace the Standback with another Standback. It's extremely light, easy to use, does the job well, and takes up almost no space in the stand case. The metal stands we had will be retired as soon as the singer's new Standback is ordered and has arrived. Anyone with an amp that needs to be leaned back on stage should check these things out. I'm very pleased with mine, and surprised at what a simple thing it really is. It's a godsend for road bands that need to minimize weight and space used in packing up. I believe Triad makes 3 sizes to accommodate almost any combo amp, or speaker cab.

Could not be easier to use--you just unfold it, adjust to amp size, & place your amp on it.

Sound Quality : 10
Obviously the amp support stand has no "sound quality" of its own--but it does have a major positive effect on PROJECTION of your amp's sound.

Reliability : 10
Could not be more simple or reliable--very well built, nothing to break. Collapses back into single "rod" shape so no possibility of damage when transporting--you can even place it in the back of your amp for transport.

Customer Support : 10
Jason @ Triad Products (Germantown, MD [suburbs of DC], 301-524-9939) could not be more helpful & professional.

Overall Rating : 10
No doubt about it: a brilliant design, and an incredible value. Why hasn't this been done before? The StandBack really gets your sound "off the floor" and achieves much better disbursement. Kudos to Triad Products on a killer product.
