As is the case with the other effect pedals I own from Uncle Ernie's; the EchoDriver does not disappoint. Right out of the box with very little tweaking you can find a Slap Back, Echos, Delay, and even a Reverb "like" sound. This pedal is very much analog all the way, which I prefer over digital. It is extremely quiet as well. The controls are Delay, Level, and Repeat. Very standard and simple stuff yet quite useful. Build quality is of the highest magnitude as I have found with the other Uncle Ernie pedals that I own.
Sound Quality

Sound quality is amazing! I can dial in just about any delay/slapback/echo you can think of in terms of your favorite artists. My favorite is to set the Delay and Repeat controls at 9:00 and the Level to taste. Very cool short delay! I use this pedal with my Uncle Ernie's OverDriver and HoneySquezr as well as with my Voodoo Labs Sparkle Drive. The amps I use are a Dr. Z Maz Jr., Vox Valvetronix, and a Carvin Belair. The pedal sounds great in front of all of them. I'm not one to use effects loops. It doesn't seem to matter what guitar I use, the pedal always delivers. Typically I use an Anderson Cobra Special, Carvin Californian, Strat, Tele, and a Rick 330.

Reliability is never an issue with Uncle Ernie's Effects. Build quality and component quality are of the highest standards. Tim Wagoner who actually builds these pedals stands behind his products 100%.

Customer support is great. I have spoken with Tim many times and he is accomodating and honest. What I really like about the support is the enthusiasm and care that Tim demonstrates whenever I've called.

As mentioned earlier in this review, I believe Uncle Ernie's Effect pedals are the best there is. They're unique in design and always sound amazing. My current pedal board sports three of his pedals and I plan to be adding at least two more very soon. I have been playing guitar for 35+ years; I mostly play Rock, Blues, and Soft Rock. I have owned and currently own many effect pedals from other manufacturers. Some are quite good but Uncle Ernie's are my favorites. To sum it up, I am looking forward to writing more reviews about Uncle Ernie's Effects as my collection grows!
