Ease of Use : 10
Extremly easy to use, plug and play with killer sound.

Sound Quality : 10
It has great overdrive sound for 60'-70's rock artists. I can get Rolling Stones, Cream, Who sound without any difficulty. I am using it with Cube amp clean sound and my distortion is only comming from the Overdriver. Guitar used is Brian Moore. No noise, perfect true bypass, distortion cleans with guitar's volume knob for rhythm playing. There is no comparisson between this pedal and cheaper "standard" distortion pedals which I used some 20 years ago.

Reliability : 10
It looks solidly build. I have used it only for 6 months so I can't fully comment on this. I would use it without back-up, but if I was frequently performing I would buy myself another one just in case...

Customer Support : 10
No need for support so far. However, when I registered through e-mail for support I got back warm e-mail response making sure that I am happy with the product and asking me for comments. I am sure if there were any problems that there would be no difficulties in getting the issue resolved. Pedal comes with 5 year warranty!!!

Overall Rating : 10
I am using this pedal to recreate classic rock sound and this pedal does it just great. I love its hi/low switch that I use for leads. It has incredible sustain, but never sounding harsh. True melodic distortion. After playing for close to 30 years I have started going back to having several simple high quality pedals that I can use for my set-up. This pedal does excellent job in covering classic rock sound, with no need for boost on leads. For more heavy sound this pedal will not work, and for this purpose I have bought landmine pedal. If it was stolen I would buy another one that same day.

This is by far the best overdrive pedal I have ever owned or used. The pedal is of the highest build quality and the sound is awesome; yet clean and articulate in terms of hearing individual notes. It is also very simple to use. Right out of the box you can get very useful overdrive sounds without much tweaking.

What makes this pedal unique is the Hi/Low function. Basically this pedal added to a single channel guitar amp instantly gives you 3 channels of sound. The pedal contains three controls (Volume, Tone, and Gain), two foot switches (Bypass and Hi/Low)and one mini toggle switch on the side which operates as a treble boost for the Hi setting. The Bypass foot switch is a true bypass. The pedal is very quiet, no detectable hiss at all. The way this pedal operates is you set up your Volume, Tone, and Gain to your liking....this is done on the Low setting. By tapping the Hi/Low footswitch from Low to Hi you instantly get a more intense overdrive sound with increased sustain. You can tweak the Hi setting even further by using the mini toggle on the side of the unit for a a bit of high end boost. The range of the Drive control is quite good from very subtle overdrive to a heavy overdriven sound. The Low setting is quite similar to an Ibanez Tube Screamer with a much better Bottom end. What makes this pedal so useful is you can have your amp set for a clean sound, use the Low setting for basic overdrive and kick in the Hi setting for soloing, etc. Hence, the three channels. Very cool stuff!

I would highly recommend this pedal to any guitarist looking for a boutique pedal that is both unique and very useful.

Tim Wagoner; the actual builder is a great guy and very accomodating. I would expect that Tim would provide very high customer service and support.

This is an awesome overdrive pedal! I play mostly rock and blues; fits my style perfectly. If this pedal were lost or stolen I would replace in a heartbeat.
