If yah can plug in a toaster, you can use it.
As far as the distribution issue, I'll share what I did and see if it helps anyone.
Went to Radio Shack, bought small aluminum box.
-Bought 5 female panel-mount plugs.
-cut a opening in the box wide enough to stack them.
-Screwed them into the box.
-wired them all in parallel.
-made up cable(s) to feed my effects.
-One end into female on box, other to effect.
-Plug One Spot into any plug on box...
-the other plugs are now all hot.
This allows me to use different ends if needed or add extra at any time.
I also installed a small led so I know when it's on.
The whole project was cheap to build and is very reliable..

Sound Quality : 10
Sound quality is "0"......exactly what you want, no sound from it.
I was impressed. I could even use it to power an old wah that could detect ac power anywhere near it, but it ran quiet (battery-like) with the One Spot. No power adaptor "ever" pulled this off. So I was sold.
My old 71 Les Paul goes into a Duncan Pickup booster set to be mostly a line driver,
into an old Wah, into a Phase 90..and for now into a H2O, then into a modded 78-79 Marshall 2203. My amp is modded to the high gain type so any noise coming into it is noted quickly. No noise noted from the use of the One Spot.
I have used "1" One Spot (and no batteries) to power as many as 5 effects, no problems noted.
Personally, I LOVE IT!

Reliability : 10
Reliability:? It is made of plastic so I wouldn't stomp on it to often...
So far with about 30+ gigs under it's belt, it's 100% fine.
The long cord allows me to run it out of the stage line-of-fire, off to the side.
I think this is a pretty high quality piece, just not overly costly.

Customer Support : 10
Great company to deal with!
They answer email and seem more then willing to help you out.
Good People, I wish them luck.
Great Customer Service.

Overall Rating : 10
Overall, if you need good, QUIET, reliable 9volt power...
this may be one of the best around.
It simply works.
If I loose it or anything, I will get another one.

Pretty easy to use. You might have a little trouble if you have a ton of pedals, figuring out how many adapters and daisy chains and such you need to buy, but if you figure it out once, you're set. It's easier than all the wall warts that this thing replaces.

Sound Quality : 10
No noise from the adapter. I get some noise from my old tube amp, the lights in my room, and some of my analog pedals, but this thing is clean. And it runs at 1000 mA, so you should never run out of juice. If you do, you have too many fx on at once. At any rate, it's quiet.

Reliability : 8
seems pretty reliable. Some people commented that the cables are a bit thin, my only gripe is that sometimes the connections from the adapters and daisy chains can get a little loose, but I've never had a problem with this at a gig, just once or twice during setup.

Keep this on your pedalboard, store it safely and treat it well, like you would any of your other gear, and she'll be apples. And if it does break, read below for customer support.

Customer Support : 10
Dealing with the company is extremely helpful. I own a Jekyll and Hyde pedal and have had replacement parts sent out to me quickly and often without cost. They'll often send parts for little or nothing, and will repair for the same cost, if any, provided you pay shipping. Boss is top notch in the reliability dept, i'd put these guys number one for customer support.

Overall Rating : 10
$40 gets you the 1 spot, a daisy chain, and one or two adapters. I'll have to buy another daisy chain and adapter to power my entire rig, but that still lands under $60. Lots less than say a voodoo labs pedal power. If it were lost, I'd buy another one.

For tons less money than a voodoo labs, you sacrifice some of the features (no 18v power, no 'sag' feature, etc) that you might not use, and still get a noiseless power supply. If you power more than 3 pedals on your fx chain, you need one of these.

No problems. Plug into pedals, plug into wall. I have it with a daisy chain and a few of the 1/8" adapters (for MXR, Rat, etc). Absolutely easy as pie.

Sound Quality : 10
No noise or hum. And I rehearse under the shadow of radio towers, so this is a big deal. Chain: EH small clone - boss flanger - proco rat - ibanez ad80 (powered by two radio shack battery replacers. the weird 18v req'd isn't handled by the one spot) - mxr distortion+ - line 6 delay modeller (with its own ps, which I already had. evidentally you can use the one spot for this, too, even in a chain, with a $2.50 adapter). (also in the chain, but have nothing to do with the one spot: yamaha fx500, dod mixer, casio mg500 guitar, running both the guitar and a yamaha tg 33 synth. Lots of nice possibilities and pretty darn close to silent, even after yards of wires under radio towers!).

Reliability : 8
I haven't had any problems with it, but I'd like to second (third?) the recommendation that the cord itself be a bit beefier. It is fairly thin and offers only minimal protection. Build quality has been fine, but I'd gladly have dropped another few bucks for a more solid piece.

Customer Support : 10
I wrote them concerning the adapters (which are something like $2.50) for 1/8". They replied within a day and were helpful and courteous. A+.

Overall Rating : 10
This is a real treat: clear up the clutter of multiple PS's and stop filling up the dump with 9v Ikea batteries. I'm extremely happy with it (despite the sticker logo, in spite of the thin but really long cord). I've recommended it to people and would do so again. I play shoegazy stuff and have far too many pedals kicking around/in rotation, so this saves the hassle of buying batteries. I set up the pedal order, zip-tied them to a piece of scrap plywood from lowe's hardware and tossed it all in a solid thrift store suitcase. Result? Powered pedal board for under $45. Not pretty, but it works and has a certain hobo/diy charm.

Plug one end into your power strip. Attach the other end to a pedal. Or attach the daisy chain and power five pedals. How easy do you want it?

Sound Quality : 10
No hum, no buzz. At least not from the power supply. If you get noise using the One Spot I wager its from your single coil pickups, bad/cheap cables or poorly designed/shielded pedals. I live 1/4 mile from an old radio station broadcast tower that puts out LOTS of spurious radiation and I still get no noise from the One Spot.

Reliability : 9
I've used the One Spot heavily for over a year and it's performed perfectly. Prior to the One Spot, I had a piece of c**p put out by Godlyke. Not only is their name a misnomer, their product was noisy and died after two weeks - taking a Zoom pedal with it.

The only thing I'd like to see on the One Spot, as well as all power adapters is a heavier, armored cable from the transformer/switch to the pedal. Dropping a cymbal on edge, rolling a heavy speaker cabinet over the cable, setting down a heavy road case roughly can damage that tiny little cable. Sure you can splice it or carry a backup, but you've got other things to think about during load-in.

Customer Support : 10
I've emailed Visual Sound with questions on other products of theirs and received responses withing a few hours. Have never needed any repairs, since none of their products have broken on me.

I've gotten the distinct feeling Bob Weil and company are into music, sound and people. An entirely different approach from the "return on the investor's principle" approach of the huge corporations and multi-nationals.

Overall Rating : 10
I don't use batteries in my pedals simply because I haven't the time for the hassle. I don't like the black spaghetti tangle that inevitably occurs when using multiple 9 volt adapters. The One Spot is the only logical way I know of to power my pedal chain. What more can I say?

It is a 9 volt adapter to power various effects. You can add extra connectors (Daisy chain) and adapters to go from Boss style to 1/8 inch EH stlye plug.
Plug it in to an outlet and your effects

Sound Quality : 10
IMO Some 9 volt adapters can add noise to effects (which are already noisy. This adapter seems to have a low noise level. Probably equivelent to using batteries.

Reliability : No Opinion
I have only had it for a week

Customer Support : 10
The guys at Visual Sound are great. I had trouble contacting them, but I left a msg and they called back. They also answered all my emails and provided advice and guidance for using the 1 spot to power my other effects (Whay Huge Fuzz, -9 v DC).

Overall Rating : 10
I have been playing for 12 years. Anybody who uses effects is familiar with the headache of powering them all. NO MORE WALLWART! This takes up one space on a power strip. I would buy it again. This is the best piece of gear I own (sort of). I play Psychadelic and/or shoegazer/ambient style music and have alot of effect pedals to achieve different sounds. Thanks to the 1 spot, I no longer have to carry around 2-3 power strips.

Simple to use...just plug in.

I don't want to rate the 1 Spot, because mine just might be faulty....

Ok, my 1 Spot sounds great, but only when I use certain pedals. After some experiments I figured out that it seems to only work if you plug it into only one brand of pedal. When I use it on all my pedals, I get ridiculous buzzing and hissing. I've gotten two of these and they act i nthe same manner. I'd appreciate it if someone emailed me with a solution...

Reliability : No Opinion
Again, maybe there's something wrong with mine.

It buzzes...but otherwise an excellent product, if I could get it to function properly...

This thing is godsend.I have connected it through a long daisy chain with all the pedals in my large pedalboard (15 pedals!)and magically all noise and signal degredation has dissapeared! The only effect that is a bit noisy (but just a BIT) is the comp.side of my Route 66 but even this has hushed dowm by 80% compared to my old Boss power supply.

Reliability : No Opinion

Overall Rating : 10
what can I say, this thing is really great,it frees up a lot of space in cluttered pedalboards like mine (in fact it has replaced 3 stand alone p.s.).Great sound and even if it breaks you can always buy another as a back up because it is dead cheap!

Plug it in and play it, baby. Using the little adaptors for different types of inputs are easy as well (sold separately, but worth it)

Sound Quality : 10
It sounds as quiet as using separate A/C adaptors, which I have used and can't tell a difference.

Reliability : 10
Oh yes...I plugged this baby in the minute I got it home and it worked like a charm. I wrapped up all the individual power supplies and put them in a box where they have stayed. Now I have room on my power strip on the pedal board to run my amp.

Customer Support : 10
I haven't had any experience with them, but they make a good product that probably won't need any support.

Overall Rating : 10
I've been playing about 12 years and I'm really grateful someone has released a pedal powering unit like this. Using individual supplies would be such a friggin drag and using batteries is not an option, since I'm not a millionaire and I don't like to take the risk of a battery going dead in the middle of a gig, sending me on a hellride. This thing definitely makes my life a little bit easier. The system they have for attaching different types of adaptors to a daisy chain is great. It's like a custom designed power unit for my stuff. I have a lot of different kinds of power inputs on my board. I use a crybaby wah, Jim Dunlop Tremolo, MXR Phase 90, Boss DD3 (delay), Ibanez Tube Screamer and Vox distortion booster. This little guy does all of them.
Someone mentioned that this power supply is expensive. I was wondering if he or she has priced the Boss power supplies that run only one pedal. They are very near the same price as the One Spot that will run all your pedals. This thing rocks and makes me more secure with my place in the universe. I highly recommend it.

Very easy to use. Just plug it in.

Sound Quality : 7
This adaptor works generally very well.

However, I have two FX pedals between guitar and amp, and two more in the amp's FX loop. If I use the 1 SPOT to power at least one pedal in each group, I get background noise. I may, therefore, have to find a more expensive multi-power supply. This adaptor was very inexpensive, so I guess you get what you pay for. Still worth the money, but doesn't suit my needs totally and I cannot rate it nearly as high as 10 if it induces noise under some circumstances.

Reliability : 9
Seem reliable. Has never failed on me.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Haven't tried them.

Overall Rating : 7
Again, for the money, not a bad little multi-adaptor. I believe from experience, though, that there's a reason that there are more expensive multi-adaptors on the market.

I love this thing. I bought it the same day I bought my Morley CLW Classic Wah pedal. I was gonna get just a Morley power supply for it untill I saw this thing. It's great! NO MORE BATTERIES! Very small, and very useful. It has like a 10 ft. long chord, so yeah, it's cool. Mine came with the daisy chain that powers 4 pedals, very cool.

Sound Quality : 9
There is a little noise when I turn on the distortion, but hey, you can only hear it when I have the distortion on and I'm not playing anything, how often does that happen? I thought it was my wah wah pedal making the sound, so I took it out the effects chain, but it was the 1 spot.
My setup:
Ibanez 10w amp>>>Ibanez CS-5 chorus>>>Danelectro Bacon & Eggs mini amp/dist.>>>Boss MT-2>>>Morley CLW Classic Wah>>>Ibanez GRX40 guitar.

Reliability : 10
I use it every time I play. Whether it's at home or at church on wed. nights. So yeah, I rely on it big time.

I play rock, but it don't matter what type of music you play, this thing just powers pedals, not make sound effects. Been playing 2 years and like 4 months. If it were lost or stolen I would have to once again unleash the one legged space chickens on somebody's a$$.
I compared it to the duracell batteries I used to power my pedals with
and this thing lasts alot longer for some reason. I love the way I never need to buy batteries again. It helps me make music when I don't have a 9v laying around. I would also like to share personal information about myself.........
