Ease of Use : 10
3 knobs, 2 jacks, 1 stomp button. Pretty easy even if you don't know how to use an octafuzz. Just play around until you find a good sound.

Sound Quality : 5
Before I get into the actual sounds this thing can make I have to say that it's very, very noisy. I know fuzzes are noisy, that aside, this thing is still noisy. With the volume and fuzz only on half it's noisier than my Hendrix Fuzz Face with vol and fuzz maxxed. I know what I'm doing and I've been around enough to know how to use stuff. There are some interesting sounds since you can blend in the octave effect but I'm disappointed at the noise level. Watch the World Music Supply demo on the u-tube. At 54 seconds when he switches it off for the first time, you can hear how the noise stops. It's not typical fuzz noisiness, it's a whole bunch of white noise.

Reliability : 10
Built strong. Unique stomp switch. Not a 3PDT-type click switch. There's no hard click. It works well.

Customer Support : No Opinion

I'm kinda disappointed at the level of noise. Overall it's not a bad fuzz box. It will never have a place on my board but it's kinda cool to play around with.

This is a great pedal. Very very simple. Only three knobs. one for volume, one for fuzz and one for "anger" which controls the octave and a bright switch

Sound Quality : 10
I??ve been playing for over 10 years and my gear right now is: Fender American strat--Dunlop Cry Baby--Angry Fuzz--Ibanez Ts-9---Fender Deluxe Reverb Reissue.
This pedal sounds really good and is really LOUD. I??ve tried other fuzz pedals and this one has the right tone. It can goes from a mild overdrive to a very strong fuzz and you can clear the sound with the volume of your guitar. You can get those hendrix/srv fuzzy tones with this pedal. That??s the music I play and I??m very happy with the sounds I can get.

Reliability : No Opinion
It seems soild as a rock. So far so good.

I love playing with this pedal. Great for the hendrix/srv and even Gilmour staff. With the gain low you get a warm overdrive and not that horrible sound that comes from other fuzz pedals. All the way up sounds amazing and it seems to have more gain than other pedals.

This is a fuzz/octave pedal from Visual Sound's new V2 series pedals. I was suprised to find no reviews of this pedal so obviously not many people own this thing. The pedal has 3 knobs. A volume knob, a fuzz level knob and an anger level knob which controls the octave effect. This is what I really love about this pedal. It also has a bright switch if you want more treble and high end in your fuzz. This thing is a cinch to get a good tone out of

Sound Quality : 10
I had been looking for a fuzz for quite awhile that had the sound I was looking for. I wanted a more 60's "Satisfaction" fuzz sound with more treble and the guy at the store suggested this to me. I love the versatility of this pedal. It doesn't have a limited sound like a Big Muff. You can got from an overdrive type tone to all out fuzz while chords and individual notes retain their clarity. Like I said before with the bright switch engaged you can get that really 60's "Satisfaction" "Heart Full of Soul" sound and with it off you can get a Stooges sound down to a Ramones overdriven Marshall sound. I play a lot of shoegaze/space rock i.e. Spacemen 3 right now and it's perfect for that. As far as the octave effect I can't really comment on that because it's just not my cup of tea so I never use it.

Reliability : 9
It seems pretty solidly built. It has one of the new foot switches that Visual Sound is putting on all their V2 pedals and they say it's supposed to last for over a million stomps or something like that but I think the older/original foot switches seems more sturdy to me. Time will tell I guess.

Visual Sound has the best customer support and Dana Weaver is the best. I emailed her concerning an issue I had with my VS Route 66 overdrive/compressor and she responded to my email immediately and was extremely nice and helpful in resolving my issue. I happened to mention to her that I owned an Angry Fuzz pedal and I thought it was one of the best fuzz pedals I've ever used and I asked if they happened to have t-shirts. Guess what? She sent me a Angry Fuzz t-shirt. With customer service like that I'll be buying Visual Sound products for a long time.

I've benn playing for over 13 years and this is the fuzz pedal I've been looking for with the exception of a Maestro Fuzztone. This is a great sounding fuzz pedal and very versatile unlike a lot of fuzz pedals that are kind of one trick ponies. I'm shocked that there is so little info and reviews on these pedals out there so nobody but me must own one. It's perfect for shoegaze/space rock "wall of sound" tone and can also do garage which is what I play. I'm very happy with this pedal and I can't imagine ever needing or using another fuzz pedal besides this one.
