Dead easy to use. Select either long or short repeats for Echo, Lush and Normal for Chorus, and you're away after a few turns of the knobs.
Manual was OK. I viewed it first online so I knew what to expect. The contents of the box contains a sticker, which for some reason always excites me even if I dont use it!
Also, this pedal looks wicked on the pedal board.

Well... I have to say I am a man who never liked Chorus or Echo. I was, until very recently just a simple user of Digital Delay. But I wanted more ambience in my rig, and my old delay pedal was broke so I went for this pedal. I've used Visual Sound before and I had an idea that this was going to be a high quality pedal, and sure enough I am not disappointed.
Firstly the Echo. WOW! I'm such a fan. The echo available is really warm sounding. It's fantastic. Took me about 30 seconds to dial in my amount of Echo and that's it...
The Chorus is AWESOME! I use the Lush setting and I'm finding it hard to turn the chorus off. Wicked for a different texture to solos or riffs. As expected, great for clean sounds. The Lush setting pretty much is, er, Lush!

Looks as solid as a rock. Should be fine.

VS have an amazing customer support reputation, although I've never had to go down that route myself. So I'm stating no opinion on this but I expect ifI did need support they would be fantastic.

Great pedal. Brilliant Echo. And the Chorus is really good... even for an "Anti-Chorus" person like myself...

This pedal is very easy to use. It took me three minutes to get sounds I liked out of this pedal, though I must admit that it will take longer than that to get 'that' sound out of it. But this is true for just about every pedal out there.
The manual for this thing is nothing more than propaganda for other Visual Sound stuff; somewhat annoying if you ask me. The sample settings are of great help because they do help to understand how to get sounds out of the pedal, but a better explanation of what each knob does would have been better, especially for new guitarists venturing into more subtle effects like chorus and echo.
I already was an owner of another Visual Sound pedal: The Jekyll & Hyde V2 pedal so I was somewhat familiar with their two pedals in one products, so getting around this pedal was very easy.

The sound quality of this pedal is superb. When they mean lush, they really do mean it, and I am glad this is the case. I checked all the youtube videos, other reviews here for other chorus pedals, and I came to the conclusion that this pedal was provably the best deal for the money. I also tried other more expensive pedals alongside this one. At one point, I had like 10 different chorus pedals sitting side by side, and there were only two that really captured my attention: the H2O, and the Voodoo Lab Analog Chorus.
I found the H2O to be more versatile, and to be somewhat brighter than the AC, and almost as lush. They were both the same price, and while I did like the AC just a bit more, the echo side of the H2O won me over. I must say though, that using the H2O and the AC at the same time was incredible! They are great pedals on their own, but together they are magic! They sound like a wall of guitars, especially when turning on the echo. I will get the AC and together with the H2O I am sure I will have an incredible chorus.
The echo side of the pedal is great too. It does not add coloration to the sound (not that I can sense anyway), just warm-analog-like repeats, but with digital precision (if that makes sense). While I am not a big delay kind of guy, and had never used delay before, I can honestly say that I can find lots of use for this echo. It can be set to the right sweetness, and subtlety to make it very useful in pretty much every situation. Yes, there are other delay pedals out there that do much more than just echo, but this one is very good at what it does, and it sounds very good. Another pedal I would take into consideration is the MXR carbon copy. Amazing sounding pedal for the price, much better sounding (to my ears) than pedals in the $400 range.
As for the volume increase some have mentioned, well, I don't notice it, but I do notice an increase in brightness, and maybe that is why it may seem louder to some people.
I will give this pedal an 8 in sound quality, not because I find it lacking, but because I believe that this pedal with the Voodoo Lab Analog Chorus TOGETHER make the perfect combination.

Visual Sound products are very well built. The casing is cast aluminum, and it feels very substantial. The switch gear feels very nice and sturdy, and it 10,000,000 stomp rating gives much confidence. The knobs are metal, so I don't think they will be wearing out any time soon.
My J&H pedal has proven to be a great reliable pedal, and I have no doubt this pedal will be just as good.

I do hope I don't ever have to contact Visual Sound for repairs, but from what I have read so far, dealing with them is not so bad.

I play rock, metal, and lots of non-distortion music. This pedal is perfect and I do not see myself playing clean without a chorus, so this effect is of great importance to me. If it were stolen or lost, I would replace this pedal with another one, but I am hoping it will never come to that.
There are two things I would change about this pedal:
1. A brightness control (I like my sound to be very, very dark).
2. A depth control, much like the single pedal version.
The echo side of this pedal is great at what it does, being an echo. It isn't intended to be a delay, and it doesn't pretend to be a delay, and I really like that.
The sounds coming from this pedal are inspiring, so I wouldn't be surprised if people who buy this pedal find themselves playing clean, or distorted more, and writing cool stuff as they noodle. It really sounds great.
For all this pedal does, I will give it a 9. For value this pedal gets a 10, for overall sound, again, an 8. I truly feel that a 10 is reserved for this pedal and the Voodoo Lab together.

because their are 2 pedals in 1 you obvious have twice the knobs. The manual allready suggests some cool presets, and the Norm/Lush knob for the chorus is easy to apply so is the long/short knob for delay to go from rockabilly to long delay time.

The chorus is awesome. From slow phasing to very lush and spacy. the echo is very warm and analog-like. I'm playing on a Gibson Les Paul Std. through a Vox AC30.

They say the bypass swiches last a life time and longer. The V2 series can take 1 million hits or so. I won't last that long though :)

I play funk/rock/pop and the pedal fits in all of these catagories. If you play cords the delay will maken thinks bigger for you. If you pick your strings like "the Edge" it will give the streets no name ( I mean it in a good way ). If you're looking for a affordable pedal with good quality sounds and build like solid rock, look no further.

most pedals are pretty easy to tweak, you can blend the chorus and the echo or each individually.Manual has a couple settings, but just twist the knobs to your own liking.

This is where I am happy to find the right chorus pedal for me.I always wanted a chorus that has that very watery sound to it,and when I plugged in at the store with a couple quick twists I found it,as well as having a delay in it also is great.
This is one of my favorite pedals of al time.I use it with a several different heads.no noise,no buzzing, just pristine clean chorus/delay...
I have it set on lush chorus and long echo, thats my favorite,on a clean channel, drop the delay and hit the distortion I like the way it sounds better than my flanger, prob cause it doesnt over do it.

Again, this is my favorite chorus,im picky about my chorus, although there are many other great pedals out there from 50 bucks to up n over 500 bucks. I did not base my buy on how much, but when I found the right chorus, I would buy it.And I have with the H20 V2. This is one of my favorite effects as well as one of my favorite pedals. Also love my evh phaser, and Tc delays.I was pullin for a Tc chorus pedal until I heard this. But you decide for yourself.
