With the trim-pot set correctly (for your setup & tone) it is really easy to get great sounds out of it...where ever you place the knobs. Setting the trim-pot though can be the difference between a great sound and either a dead one or shrill one...depending on how the factory had it. My first m-vibe (stolen) was set too shrill and at the time didn't know about the trim-pot (found out about these things while setting up my boss ce-2) and the one I am reviewing now was too muddy and dark stock...after a few twists I have it just right for me.

Setup-Strat/335/SG-dunlop crababy (crap), Micro-Vibe, danelectro pastrami overdrive set to really cheap sounding fuzz (works well for that...actually sounds pretty good), Boss CE-2 Chorus, AB-A Danelectro Fish & Chips EQ (mid & Gain boost), Peavey Classic 30 & 1x12 extension cab-B-Boss SD-1 Overdrive, Marshall VS65R. This pedal does an excellent job of doing the Robbin Trower, Jimi Hendrix thing as well as classic phase tones ala Lowell George, especially for $150. Doesn't add to the noise level, which is good cause on the classic 30 it is insanely loud when the band quiet anyway. There are better sounding units out there...but not for this price.

I take care of my stuff, and I can't afford more (this one was a gift) so I have to depend on it and can't gig with a backup. Even if I could afford one I would feel pretty confident in it...seems pretty sturdy and the cirtuit board is anchored within the pedal...which is pretty clean compared stuff like boss and dunlop.

Beautiful sound. I had tried the Danelectro Rocky road, and I can honestly say there is no comparison. I'm glad I bit the bullet and spent the extra money on the Micro Vibe.
I use a Jap 50's strat with Seymour Duncan pups into a crybaby, the Microvibe, Boss CS3 compressor, TS9 reissue, (Sometimes) Vtwin. In the fx loop of the amp I run a Boss DD2 delay and a TR2 tremelo, sometimes with a Boss CE3 chorus or a boss BF2 flanger.

I'm going for SRV all the way, with a healthy dose of Mike Landau on his Burning Water stuff. However, the main reason I bought this pedal is the Steve Lukather tune "Never Walk Alone" on Candyman. This pedal is perfect for that slight transparent shimmer behind a slightly, but not-over distorted tone. I'm stoked that this pedal has hit the spot. It is also great for a really middly, fixed Wah position tone. Again set with the intensity low, the Mocro Vibe really adds tothe sound by adding a slight dynamic to the sound - a slow shimmer and swirl that really adds life to the sound - cool, cool, cool. The bypass also seems spot on - much better than any Boss or Dod.

Once you get the internal trimmer set, it is simple to use. However, expect to spend several hours working with the internal trimmer to set the pedal so that it does not cut your high ends signal or sound trebly and thin. Once the trimmer is set right, the pedal sounds great. I give it a 5 for ease of use because getting the internal trimmer set is not easy and some users will never get it set exactly right so that this pedal does not suck tone when engaged. (It is true bypass so it has no effect on your sound when swiched off.) I suspect that Voodoo Labs is saving a lot of money by failing to fine tune the pedal before shipping. I find it hard to believe that they are not aware of this problem.

Has a nice Leslie-like sound with the intensity from 10 to 1 o'clock and the speed on full. Slower speeds with higher intensity give you the classic Univibe sound. The sound is not overly sweet, which is a problem with some chorus pedals. It is a nice alternative to a chorus pedal for folks looking for a more unique sound (everybody uses choruses it seems.) This covers the ground between a MXR Phase 100 and a Boss chorus pedal. Sounds good both clean and with overdrive. I'll give it a 9 because it is not a Holy Grail pedal, but I really love the Leslie-like setting.

I would gig without a backup because in a pinch I would use my chorus and phase pedals. But I don't see a problem. My biggest concern is that if I had to buy another one I might have to go throught the hassle of setting the internal trimmer once again! I really found the pedal unsatisfactory with the factory setting and getting is set just right is not easy. So I will give them a 6.

This one is a keeper but you have to mess with it initially so that it does not destroy your tone. I suppose there are other modulation pedals that cover the same ground as well. If this were lost, I would try a few others but probably would buy another Micro Vibe.

Very easy pedal to use. 2 knobs: Intensity and Speed. The instructions get you to Robin Trower - Bridge of Sighs (slow and deep) and SRV - Couldn't Stand the Weather (fast and shallow).

My pedal board chain is Crybaby (mod. w/tru bypass), Tube Screamer, MXR phase 90, MicroVibe, Dan-Echo. That goes into a Mesa Boogie DC-5. My #1 is a PRS Custom 24; #2 is an American Strat with Bill Lawrence pups. My set-up is SILENT. I won't have anything in my chain that is the least but noisy or sucks any tone from the guitar straight-in. I was looking for the Trower and SRV sounds. I was also hoping I could get a sort-of chorus out of it. While it performs its main job well (even the quasi-chorus is reasonable), and it is pretty quiet, but it sucks highs in a way that I can't live with. When I use the PRS "Les Paul" setting (middle setting), the effect becomes so muddy it is unusable. The hot fat pup is a little better. Add distortion and fuhgedaboudit! The Strat is better but only on the bridge pickup. I like to use the neck pickup with the Tube Screamer for SRV but when you kick in the Micro Vibe, it's sayonara to the highs. If I totally change the EQ settings on the amp, I can get a decent vibe sound. But then it's all wrong when you switch it off.

After reading reviews in GP about this effect, I was really excited about getting the SRV sound at this price. I was really disappointed when I kicked it in and the tone went bye-bye (after waiting to get it fixed). I have had it over a year and have given it every opportunity to WOW me. I have tried different amps and guitars. I've taken it out of the effects chain and tried it both direct and through the amp's effects loop. Maybe it's me but it just isn't going to happen for us. As of today, I'm kicking it to the curb. Now I have a hole in my pedal board. Maybe I'll meet a nice analog chorus that will give me what I'm looking for.

Out of the box this pedal gave me a huge volume and treble loss so I needed to run my Austone Fuzz Nutz in from of it at full blast. However that didnt help me on the clean sounds so I decided to unscrew the unit like you would if you were to replace the battery, and I adjusted the internal trim pot with the same small screwdriver I used to open the pedal- the trim pot is a small white plastic screw located at the bottom of the circuit board.
When starting out at full left position and turned the trim pot to the right I noticed changes in tone but the sound refused to oscillate with the speed knob turned up high. I decided that the trim pot must be adjusted from right to left, and with the speed knob up at least halfway so that you can hear the oscillations to be sure you havent mis-adjusted it. Anyway, I spent a few minutes playing my guitar while turning the trim pot- there are huge tonal changes available, and I finally settled on a setting that at least improved the sound from when I first used the pedal. Now I dont seem to have a volume loss, but I also dont have a volume increase like some other reviewers have mentioned on their older versions that dont have the LED. Mine has the LED. So the trim pot is very sensitive and cant be adjusted by turning it back and forth- you need to turn it all the way to the right to start, and then slowly turn it to the left until it sounds OK. Very tricky but easy to do, and I am no engineer.
Now that I adjusted the pedal it sounds much more like a chorus instead of a phaser when I play clean at certain settings. I really love the sound now- Its subtle when used clean at low settings, which I like. When used with distortion the effect is enhanced. This is a good pedal.

Takes some tweaking to get useable sounds, but the effect is very strong. Two knobs- speed and intensity shape the sound. The knobs are very responsive to small changes, and interactive- also the actual tone of the guitar seems to change when you make drastic changes to the knobs. It takes some time to get the correct speed setting- if you play rhythms at the same speed as the pedal you get a unique effect- also octaves sound great on this pedal. Its close to the sound Hendrix uses at the Woodstock 1969 concert, but needs to be tweaked in order not to sound overwhelming.

Sounds like a cross between a phase shifter and a vibrato effect. There is a slight volume drop when the pedal is engaged, but cranking your fuzz pedal's volume to the max (assuming like me that you place the fuzz first before the modulation effects) restores enough volume to crank my little Vox Cambridge 15 watt amp to nice levels with fine tone. I havent tried this pedal on my Marshall AVT 50 amp yet but I am sure it kicks. The effect is strong and I prefer a low intensity and high speed setting combination, contrary to the guidelines given in the instruction manual, which is just a single page, but at least it comes with some literature. The effect can be a little noisy at obnoxious settings but the sweep is pretty quiet when set correctly- its a little more noisy than my Maxon 301 Flanger. This pedal replaces my original 1970's EH Small Stone which is good but seeking retirement in my drawer- I wanted newer better-made effects and this pedal fit the bill nicely. Like I said it can replace your phase shifter, and its two knobs offer more control than the harsher sounding MXR Phase 90 re-issue. I am using this with a Gibson Les Paul but I am sure it sounds better with my Strat- everything sounds better with a Strat. As with all phase shifters there is a small loss of high frequency response, which is another reason why Fender guitars probably sound better with this effect.

I play blues/rock and this pedal is great for the heavy stuff like Hendrix. As a matter of fact I just downloaded some of the guitar tab and chord contributions on the database link here and riffs like Hendrix Burning of the Midnight Lamp, or the Beatles I Feel Fine sound very good with this Micro Vibe pedal. An advantage of this pedal is that it is small and battery operated and portable, where as other pedals that do the Univibe thing are bulky and more costly.
This pedal completes my gear- I also own a Maxon 505 Chorus and 301 Flanger, an original EH Big Muff and Small Stone, a Maestro MFZ Fuzz, a DOD FX 50 Overdrive Preamp, the Austone Textone and Fuzz Nutz models, the Roger Mayer Spitfire, the Guyatone TZ-2 Fuzz, and the new re-issued EH Deluxe Memory Man. The Memory Man compares well to the Micro Vibe and is a good alternative for those not wishing to own so many effects.
Overall this Voodoo Lab Micro Vibe is a decent choice for boutique pedal users in my opinion as a vibrato and phase effect. I would NEVER buy any of the inexpensive new DOD or Boss effects because I think they are cheaply made junk, in my opinion.

I've noticed no noise when I turn it on. No pop or anything. After all the other reviews I read, I was expected this and was pleasantly surprised. I did notice a loss in highs, but also read the trick about the trim pot below, and that seemed to do the trick. I've found one other thing: before you adjsut your trim pot, make sure you are plugged into the power source you plan on using because the tone sounds different between battery and wall wart. Either way, it's got a beautiful swirling sound. It'll never be the same as playing through a Leslie, but I don't have that kind of jack and the petal weighs a lot less!

I play blues, old rock, and a bit of jazz. Try playing "Blue in Green" (Miles Davis) through this for a different jazz sound! Wish I was good enough to say I play like Clapton, Jimi, or SRV, but my head's not that big. I just enjoy myself.
I own a Am Fat Strat Deluxe, a Tele, and a Les Paul, going through either a Mesa Boogie Nomad (mostly) or a Fender HR Deluxe (occassionally). I've played TS in front but mostly use that for a different option with the Nomad or as OD on the Fender. The M Vibe gives that late 60s sound that I've loved since the Beatles. When I was test-driving this in the store, it kept suggesting all kinds of Beatles stuff to me. Defintely a good match for what I like.
I didn't compare it to anything else because I own a Voodoo Overdrive petal and Petal Power, both solid as can be and neither have given me a moment's worry. Enough said. Would I get this again? You bet your sweet bippy!

Two Knobs-- how hard can it get?
The controls are very interactive-- it might take a couple minutes to figure out the proper match/contrast for a song's tempo. I mark my two fave positions for gigs as a starting point. It's easy to change on the fly with the big knobs.

This baby is the ticket to Trowerland, for those of us not wealthy enough to cherrypick among overpriced vintage univibes.
I have two friends who own original univibes, and they both suck compared to the Microvibe. We compared 'em at a studio one day, and this box was more USABLE in just about every aspect, and MUCH less noisy.
BUT-- this is an earlier series than the ones out now with the LED's (mine has none-- but it's not a problem, as you can easily tell if it's on or off). I have owned it for a long time (tried it out after the rave review in GP, had to have it immediately after plugging in), and have had ZERO problems with it. NO TONE LOSS, NO TREBLE OR BASS LEVEL CHANGES LIKE OTHER REVIEWS HAVE STATED.
Bottom line: This is a killer pedal, but try it out WITH YOUR OWN RIG before you purchase. I suspect the treble loss others have described is due to impedance loading (from lousy cables, pickups or other effects before it in line), low batteries, who knows? Mine rules, but I have a good rig, and even my Vox Wah is modded for true bypass, so perhaps that is the reason it sounds good.

I just got this pedal earlier this week, and used it for the first time tonight with ma band.
I'd heard various demo's & tried one out myself (surprise) before buying, and had checked the various user reviews posted on sites like this one. I was particularly struck by the reviewer here who talks about the trim pot inside to tweak the treble. But I'd liked what I heard in the shop and thought I'd get one.
It arrived (I got it over the Web) and then I plugged in and ... and ... and ... no treble. My guitar sounded like it had been put through a sock. And an old one at that. So I thought, not to worry, do the trim pot thing. An hour or so later, I was happy - more than happy, it sounded great. Then tonight, I pitch up with the band and during the sound check thought, oh, let's just kick in with the Micro Vibe, see how it sounds. And ... and ... pants. Yuk. So, out came the screwdriver and I did the trim pot thing again, and - heh presto - eventually, after about another 15 min's of fiddling, I got it sussed so the sound sounded great with me playing along with everyone else in the bad. Hurrah. The rest of the evening, whenever I switched it on, I was happy.
The moral of this tale? I don't think the Micro Vibe is actually easy to use at all. I agree with some of the other reviewers, this pedal needs quite a bit of fine-tuning (inside, you have to take the damn thing apart to get at the f'ing trim pot). This is not a take-it-out-of-the-box-and-be-happy pedal. Sure, once you've got it set up properly, you will be (happy). But for some reason, this pedal doesn't seem to (always) come perfect.
The man who found the trim pot and posted the review on Harmony should be knighted. (I'm a Brit - knighting people is a good thing where I come from.) Or maybe he should just get to shag people he'd like to shag. Whatever. He did a good thing by sussing out the trim pot and so a big :-) goes out to him from me.

Once you've set it up right, this pedal's yummy. Surprisingly big for its size (small pedal, big sound), very swirly (if you want it to be), but nicely organic - no harsh, metalic edge to the sound, here. And pretty versatile (albeit, that it'll always sound like what it is - a Univibe clone).
My only slight niggle (apart from having to mess about with the trim pot to get the overall sound right to start with) is that the speed control doesn't seem to go all that fast when on top setting - it might be a little unfair, cos trem's generally in my experience can go a little faster than 'Vibes anyway, but I felt I could use a little more speed, even for a Vibe pedal.
But not bad. Not bad at all.

It's a pretty good pedal. I've played the Roger Mayer Voodoo Vibe and the Fulltone Vibe, too. They're both very, very good, but much, much more expensive. I'm not a big 'Vibe pedal fanatic, but I do find it a very useful addition to my board for a few specific uses during our set, so for me it's been a good buy (I don't think I could justify the extra expense of an original Uni Vibe, for example). So, I'm reasonably happy when all's said and done.
I don't know what the deal is with this having to fiddle with trim pot thing - it is a pain in the arse, and personally it does worry me a little that I can't just take the pedal out the box, plug in and get a great sound. But having said that, with a bit of tweaking, I've ended up happy. Maybe Voodoo Lab should encourage users to do the adjustments (fine-tuning to match your guitar ...?) and explain what to do in the instructions (perhaps they could even make it easier to do the tweaking ...?). Or maybe, as has been suggested elswhere, they have a quality control problem - I don't know.
Overall, though, pretty good value, no regrets. It's a good pedal, evne if I've been a bit snooty about it. (But I am a Brit, so what do you expect?)

Pretty easy to get a good sound. With only speed and intensity controls to tweak, you can quickly get an idea of the range of sounds available. On my particular unit, settings below 12 o'clock on either speed or intensity don't seem to have much effect. I was able to dial in a classic Trower setting ("bridge of sighs") with no trouble. Other less extreme setting are available though.

I can't compare the Microvibe to a vintage univibe sound since I've never played a vintage univibe. My impression of the Microvibe is that it gives me the sound I've heard some of my favorite recordings. For use with my single coil guitars, I seem to get a better sound if I send a slightly boosted signal to the Microvibe. My only dissappointment with the Microvibe is that it doesn't react well to rolling down my guitar volume. The tone seems to get a thinned out and take on a metallic tinge.

Other than a worn out toggle switch on my Microvibe, none of my Voodoo Lab effects (overdrive, analog chorus, tremelo, proctavia) which have never glitched or otherwise failed to perform. The Microvibe worked flawlessly up to the moment that I accidentally neutered it while poking around the insides. I had it repaired by VL and it works great again! The failure wouldn't have happened if I was more careful. The only component I would worry about is the tiny incandescent bulb inside the unit will probably need replacing from time to time. Trust me, you won't find these bulbs at your local Radio Shack. Also, the bulb's filament could potentially be damaged by shock or vibration, particularly while in use (due to the fragile nature of heated filaments).

As I stated earlier, I had to have my unit serviced due to stupidity on my part. I knew that I had damaged a photo cell but wasn't sure where to obtain them, so I arranged to have it repaired by the fine fellows at Voodoo Lab. They gave me an RMA and told me that they'd call to get my approval to proceed once they had examined the unit. Being impatient, I called the customer service dept. about 12 days later to ask if the unit had been looked at and to my surpise it had already been repaired. I'm not sure about the disconnect with the "we'll call you before we fix it" thing, but I certainly won't object to the fast repair turnaround. Although I had agreed to pay an additional charge for parts, they ended up only charging the flat bench fee for replacing a photo cell, and damaged power jack. They even replaced the incandescent bulb. Way to go Voodoo Lab!

The Microvibe does a more than adequate job whenever I need a univibe effect. I love it's compact size and portability. Battery operation is a plus although it will drain batteries fairly quickly. After all, there is an incandescent bulb in the circuit. I don't doubt that there are better vibe units out there but not in this price range!

Ok I'm posting this because of other reviews describing a "loss of treble" or "too much treble" from the microvibe ! Actually i had 2 microvibe: one 3 years ago and a new one last year. Well they didn't sound the same at all !!! The first one was great, very transparent and i used to use it for clean work mostly. The new one is just *really* bassy (the other reviewers noticed as me a big "loss of treble") and plain unusable for clean work (your sound is muffled). The new one is ok with distortion tough.
So today i decided to open this new microvibe and check why the same pedal can sound so differently. Opening the new one is not easy task but once did, you'll notice a trim pot to the left of the switch. This trim pot is the key to the balance between bass and treble.
Set intensity on 0 and speed whereverr you want. Slowly trim the pot while playing (you'll notice huge tonal difference and more and more treble the more you go to the right). Once you're happy close the thing.
As this effect is very sensitive, it makes a giant difference, I was able to find again the tone of my first microvibe.
So if your microvibe sound bassy or muffled, that's the solution. I think Voodoolab had better quality control a few years ago...
Hope i helped

YOU CAN NOT USE BATTERIES WITH THIS PEDAL THEY LAST ABOUT 20 MINS' AC POWER ONLY!. GREAT PULSATING SOUND!IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME JUST ASK ANDY SUMMERS. ONCE AGAIN THIS PEDAL SOUNDS GREAT WITHOUT DIST/O.D. IT IS A GREAT PEDAL THAT DOSENT NEED BOOST! BESIDES ANYONE WHO COMBINES PHASE/CHORUS WITH O.D.MUST BE A PERVERT! OR A METTALICA FAN! USED SPARINGLY IT CAN PROVIDE A DRAMATIC LIFT TO YOUR SOUND,OR MORE IMPORTANTLY TO THE OVERALL SOUND OF YOUR BAND.

Piece of cake. Just two knobs. It seems to me, though, that there are sweet spots between the two, that can be tough to find on the fly.

I play a Strat/Tele/PRS into a Mesa Tremoverb.
I've mainly ended up using this as a chorus substitute. I much prefer it's 'organic-ness' to the typically messy chorus sound.
It also does sound better than the 'vibes' in my Line6 MM4.
HOWEVER, I do have one big beef with this thing. It completely sucks the high-end out of my tone when it's on. Since other reviews here contradict this fact, it makes me wonder if I've gotten a lemon. Regardless, it makes the bridge pickup on my tele sound like the neck pickup. This is borderline unacceptable!
With that aside, the actual effect is fantastic. Nice swirl....

I emailed them three weeks ago with a question about the pedal power, and I haven't gotten any response. This is the only basis I have to form an opinion of their support.

I have very conflicting feelings about this thing. I really like the effect when I use it here at home, but on a gig, the treble attenuation causes my sound to get lost in the mix. Swirling vortex of mud. I suppose I could run it into an EQ pedal to restore the high-end, but that idea is completely ludicrous to me, due to the noise as well as the price of this pedal.
Eventually, I will replace this pedal, probably with a Fulltone.
I strongly recommend that you A/B this with other 'vibe' pedals before you buy!

Two knobs, not much else as far as control..speed is from way too slow to not fast enough
Sound Quality

Way too trebly....not enough bottom...boosts treble to unacceptable levels and cuts bottom end
Effect is too transparent..must be turned all the way up to be heard
Recommended settings (only 2 out of all possibilities) are decent, but don't really do it for me..don't really come through that strong and are basically useless if you have tremolo as an option, which I do on all my silverface Fender amps
Sounds like a weak tremolo...never heard a real Univibe, but this doesn't do the trick for me...doesn't sound like a Leslie at all IMHO
Seems to modulate the low mid frequencies (in a warble kind of sound) and leave the highs boosted and stingingly overaccented - actually makes my original tubescreamer and my Reverend Drivetrain suck

Voodoo Lab seems like a cool company and their pedals seem well built. I bought this pedal unheard, wanting a cool vibe-ey sound like Stevie's "Cold Shot" but this particular pedal's sound is weak. If I could have 25 pedals at my disposal I could find a place for it. Unfortunately, real estate on the stages I play is not that generous, so I will stick to my Drivetrain and MIJ Boss CE-2 Chorus pedal (and my Teese RMC-1 wah when on especially spacious stages)

Love Hendrix ,Trower etc.... so I knew what i was looking for. Wanted a dunlop, heard so much bad press (even from my local guitar shop) that i decided against it. Traded a POS guitar for this one. Love the sound. Some folks say you loose bass through here, well i have to say if that's the case, then you need to pick up a Blackface Fender Bassman. Cause she's sweet! Sounds wonderful. I bet my neighbors are gonna call the cops any second.
I don't like the way it mixes with a distortion box. I have a TS-9 (the real deal) and it sounds ....good when run after the Micro Vibe, but totally synthetic when run before it, although smoother. You be the judges. I'd love to hear some feedback from some of you as to what you think of this. I think pure tube-amp-cranked-all-the-way -up is the way to go with this one. But it's BEAUTIFUL on clean Fender tones. I don't own a Marshall, this one makes me wish i did.
This little device has made me play more than the past few vintage strats, and amps i have purchased. I like it.

Various strats into vintage Marshalls and Fenders. I found this unit to be quiet enough. Who cares about some noise if you're using single coil p/u's into vintage amps?
I used to own a Dunlop Uni-vibe and I sold it because there was always a volume drop when switching the pedal on. I also think the micro vibe sounds more organic and fatter.

I have an American standard strat, chain is strat, crybaby, ts-9(808)
mod,Rat, Microvibe, 2 different echos, into a 63 reissue Vibroverb. I also have a Hamer Mirage that I do not use with the Microvibe because the Microvibe demands a Stat! Hendrix, Trower, etal.
I emailed Voodoolab with a question about THE Jimi, Trower setting and I received a reply from them telling me to turn the intensity all the way up and to put the speed at 11:30. That did it! You do it too.

60's strat - vox wah - micro vibe - ts808 - big muff - boss delay - boss chorus - 100w tube. With my set up, the pedal sounds killer. I think this is the best Uni Vibe copy there is in the market. It actually sounds better and more natural than the real thing. If you want to sound like Hendrix, this is a must. Of course there is noise, but aren't all swirly wirly effects noisy? The noise factor doesn't bother me because there isn't much. While you're not playing, you still hear this cool leslie back ground sound. I usually used it before distortion, but supposedly, Hendrix used it after fuzz.

I've been playing guitar for 10 years, and recently I started playing more of oldies but goodies. For vintage swirly sound, I think this pedal beat all competition hands down. I own the univibe, the rotovibe and toyed with the Deja 2. The sound wise, cost effectiveness, and even the looks, the uni vibe is where the vibe is.

Who knows what a good setup is, after 5 min (and many years behind a fretboard) I like this: Wah, Vibe, Overdrive>amp. If you put the vibe after my OD when the OD is on it picks up too much gain on each swirl and becomes too swishy. With the Vibe first, the OD compresses the signal and it's tolerable. Or use it alone. It's an analog Phase shifter, but a good one. It does boost the bass on the swooshies but I think that it's necessary, along with a mentality when your using weird effects anyway, you've got to sit back and not get anal...because you're not in complete control...hahahaha...is it hell and heaven combined? ahahahaha.....

Various Strats and a Telesonic into a Mesa Boogie Tremoverb. I love the sound, it's thick and swirly. Anything from a light chorus type sound to heavy vibro Univibe'ish sounds. I've only played through a Univibe once in a used music store and liked it very much. But they wanted over $200 used for it and I was reluctant at the time to buy it. Now I'm glad I waited because the Micro Vibe sound just about as good to my ears, and was alittle cheaper. Sounds good clean or overdrive tones. I have noticed that it clips some of the high end out of my tone, but nothing drastic by any means. Excellent product!

I bought this based on the other reviews. I did'nt know if the people who submitted these reviews were newbys, company shills or a bunch of crackheads that think a speaker with a hole in it sounds good. I am happy to say they are knowledgable and were right on the money with this puppy. I have been playing for over 25 years and I am very picky. I have bought my share of lemons based on hype but, this is a good value here. sounds as good as the one trower uses to my ears.

read this before you buy..i have tried the Voodoo-vibe By Roger Mayer. I have tried the Deja-vibe the dunlop uni-vibe and many others. This one has the best vibe hands down...i play a strat
with van zant pick-ups into a vox-wah stock into a fulldrive 2 then
a boss distortion and micro vibe. Into a Fender 59 Bassman And
a Fender Twin reverb Signal is split with a voodoo bass pedal. The only draw back is the popping sound when switched on....and
the inevitable swooshing noise...But all the other pedal makers
claim that there's are noisless...thats nonsense they all are...
a boss ns-3 helps out a bit.... three points lost for the click...i have exchanged the pedal three times and it was all the same
if anyone could contact me from customer support my email
