very easy to dial in a great sound. has a contour dial that affects eq strucure, from mid bump to mid scoop.

I use an Ibanez Jem>pinnacle 2>ISP noise decimator>Tech 21 GT2 sans amp>Pod x3 live>tech 21 Power Engine or power amp of a 212 Spidervalve. The pinnacle sounds amazing through this set-up, can cop all the high gain sounds of the eighties, especially - Van halen.
the pinnacle produces a high gain crunch with a layer of soft clipping to soften the dense sound.Best distortion pedal I've ever played. I never seem to get bored with the sound, in fact even a keeley comp doesn't do much to improve the sound.

I like to play Vai,Halen, and Satriani type shred and this pedal will get you there. I've been playing for 25 years. I would replace this pedal in a NY minute. I love the sound and hate nothing about it. Produces a hotter signal and crunch than the Satchurator and sounds more lively too. You will play for hours!!!!

very tweakable, but impossible to get a bad sound

gives you the ultimate in brown overdrive and distortion. has a ton of gain if you need it. will make any wimpy amp sound like it's on steroids. will pummel your signal but keep it focused as well. not for the weak of heart. haven't needed the boost switch yet.

perfect for eighties saturation and Van Halen riffing, will add sparkle to any solo with any set-up.
