Ease of Use : 10
Easy as pie. 3 knobs - time, repeat & mix. one noisless footswitch. Takes one 9V battery or AC adaptor.

Sound Quality : 8
Very good. Sounds very natural, not pristinely clear like my Boss DD3, but still gives a nice tone that isn't distorted. The longest delay possible is quite short compared to modern digital delays so it is limited to certain styles/songs. However, it is perfect for simple subtle echo and slapback stuff.

I wouldn't use it to replace for my DD3 (fantastic pedal in my opinion), but will certainly use it alongside the Boss. In fact I have used the two simultaneously and can get some great amazing effects. If you have two delays try it. Set the first with short delay + little feedback and the second longer delay + more feedback. It sound great.

Reliability : 9
Feels reliable (indestructable), solid metal case and footswitch.

Never used it, if it exists.

Overall Rating : 10
Fantastic bargain considering the stupidly high prices paid for other analogue delays these days. I've seen second hand Ibanez and Boss models go for over #150 on ebay on a regular basis, so whatch out for these little-known gems. Grab one if you can.

Simple ... delay time, mix and repeat. What else do you need for an analog stompbox.I give it a 10 for simple layout... plug in and go...love it!I got this new in box with manual... this year...music store moving out old inventory!Lucky I was....$70.00 including shipping.Quiet switching also!

Sound Quality : 10
I run it though a sound city 50+ with an old ts 808 and an old ADA flanger...1969 strat with lindy Fralin woodstock pickups.Wonderfull analog delay...warm and transparent.Every bit as good as the over priced vintage Ibanez ad9 and boss dm2.The unit is dead quiet too.Delay time max is 300 ms.(like ad9)

Reliability : No Opinion
Appears well made...nice metal housing with agood switch!Mine is brand new(old stock)...so I can not really say how it will hold up.
Battery cover is wimpy...I can get by that though!

I have played for about 30 years...rock,jazz and blues.Tried sooo much gear over the years , this thing is an absolute a jewel!!!Bargain price for a vintage analog delay...Ibanez ad9's are between 200.00 and 300.00...yes they sound great , but the ax-9 is every bit as good.Hard to find though...I will snatch up another if I get the chance! Buy it now!!!

If i don't use a tape unit this is the one I turn to. I got it without a manual which is unnecessary.

Sound Quality : 10
I use this with Fender Telecasters, an old Gretsch or mid 60's ES-335.
Dead quiet. Always sounds great - linear. I use it with stereo combinations of various Fender tube amps.

Reliability : 10
Extremely dependable. However, I never use anything on a gig without a backup.

I play finger style everything for forty years. I own over a dozen American made guitars including Fender, Gibson, Gretsch and Peavey. If it disappears I'll find another. I love its tone. I hate that I have never found another. I've compared it to dozen other brands and sent them all back.

3 knobs real easy.

Sound Quality : 9
Sounds nice and warm, organic. A real bargain out there in the used market compared to the unbelievable prices for analog delays. I use strats and teles through class A amps. You have to go light on the Mix knob to get good delay sounds (no more than half way for me) Like any analog delay you don't get real long delays. It works well with all of my effects.

Reliability : 9
I've had it for quite a while with no problems. I've been gigging without a backup. Who can afford backups?

Customer Support : No Opinion
It's used... I don't know...

Overall Rating : 9
A great pedal for the money; buy it if you can find one..
