This pedal is very easy to use. Two knobs and a switch. You will have no problem dialing in the sound you want. The manual is well written and clear.

I play a Les Paul and a Strat into an old Traynor. This is my first review, and let's just say that I felt compelled to comment on this pedal because it sounds so good. It never lets me down. One of the most unique sounding fuzzes I have (and I have several). You will be so inspired by this pedal that the riffs will just pour out of you.

The blend knob does just as it says, but acts also like a volume knob. I set it at around 1 o'clock. The fuzz knob is useful throughout its range. The switch goes from classic trebly superfuzz to scooped death sound. The internal trim pot is very useful too.

The pedal produces some really cool sounds when you flip to the bridge on single coils and dial back the tone and volume. It gets that octave thing going and is just a beautiful piercing sound.

I play covers and originals and use this pedal to get that Queens of the Stone Age sound. I've also found that using a battery makes a big difference. As the battery starts to die the fuzz just gets gnarlier and even better!

I have to give it a 10 as I have no issues at all with the sound of this pedal.

Reliability : 10
Built like a tank. Good strong components that I'm sure will last me a very long time.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Haven't dealt with them, but they are very forthcoming with info on the forums and very very knowledgeable about their product.

Overall Rating : 10
I play mainly rock and alternative, with some blues. This pedal is the one to go to when you want to emulate something that just sounds different in a song you've heard.

I would buy one of these again in the blink of an eye. If you are sitting on the fence - buy one. You will not regret it. I actually feel fortunate to have this pedal because one day it will be a collector's item. It is one of the very few pedals that I would NEVER consider selling.

There are a million fuzz pedals out there that all do the same thing. You have your standards - fuzz face, tonebender, bee baa, mosrite, which are each unique, and the Superfuzz falls right in that category. You won't find anything like it - except the original of course!

Pure Analog. FailSafe. Simply stomp on it to turn it on or off. Listen to the sound of a real click coming from a real switch! Two dials to set up FUZZ and Volume levels. A slide switch that greatly alters the tone. It could not be any easier unless you have mind-over-matter abilities.

These two gents from Wattson have done the equivalent of Marty McFly. They have gone back to the past and brought back the Ultimate Fuzz. The changes they made in getting rid of the noise of the original superfuzzes is just incredible. The original were noisy when cranked, like a super windstorm. It was a cool side effect to freak the audience, but this is so much better now. There is no comparision to any of the so-called Superfuzzes on the market now. I have a Voodoo Lab Superfuzz, but it is far to creamy and tame to be using this name. It is a nice fuzz, but it is not a Wattson SuperFuzz. I play a Fender Tele, a G&L Legacy Special (a fantastic 13 year old guitar!), a Gibson Faded SG, and a 10 year old Epiphone Sheraton II. I run them thru my Fender Twin Reverb Special 15" speaker or a Crate Vintage Club VC 20, which by the way, was the best cheap tube amp ever. When you play the Hendrix, the Townsend, and the Zappa, you are hearing this effect. This effect will surpass all other fuzzes out there now. Buy one now as if this company fails, these will become the most collectable fuzzz out there.

Reliability : 10
It is built like a tank for the 21st Century. I can depend on this pedal more than my guitars or amps to go thru a bomb drop.

I had email conversations with the company after hearing the audio and video samples that are on the web and youtube, etc. I was amazed. I contacted them about how it matches up to the Crown (Shin-ei) Univox Superfuzz, the original noise, etc. They emailed me the same day with blow by blow answers to all of my specific questions. I trust them totally.

Don't even think about using this to just "drive the speakers a little for that tube sound distortion." All the companies have that pedal and they do it very well. Don't crank it up and try to play full chords. It will just mush up the sound. This Superfuzz is the best for squeezing out single note and two note riffs. Hendrix used to play a riff utilizing a note on the 3rd string and a note on the 2nd string only 2 frets up toward the nut, and then climb upwards toward the bridge moving that finger position two frets up a time. You have heard zillions of other great guitarists also do this from that era. As he would be climbing he would also be bending and releasing the notes ever so slowly and it just makes the greatest fuzz as the notes and their harmonics just ring out like no other pedal. Not the Octaves not a ring modulator, etc. Just Listen to the samples and when you buy it and plug it in and play it, just think of me!

If you know how to use a Shin-ei or Univox Super-Fuzz, you know how to use this pedal, which is a clone of the aforementioned classic pedals. Standard In/Out jacks, on-off foot switch, Balance control (volume), Expander control (intensity), Tone 1/Tone 2 switch and an on-off light.

Sound Quality : 10
This pedal has the Shin-ei/Univox Super-Fuzz sound nailed. I've been looking for a replacement for my old Univox pedals for several years, but to no avail. After trying several clones that have failed the acid test, I no longer have to look further.

I've tried this pedal with Fillmore Mosrite Mark I and Agile AS-1000 2TS (Gibson ES335 clone) guitars through an original Pignose amp, the Agile through a mod'ed Fender Hot Rod Deluxe amp and a '75 Rickenbacker 4001 bass guitar through a Fender Rumble 100 bass amp. The sound is just as I remember way back when.

Reliability : 10
The way this pedal is built, I believe it will be very reliable. I've had it for less than a week, so I don't know for sure, but I will give it the benefit of the doubt.

This is the first product from Wattson Classic Electronics. I received thir second one. Correspondence has been very helpful and friendly. I'm looking forward to their next product.

My preferred musical style is anything except disco, rap (not really music) or hip hop. I'm an amateur guitarist and Mellotronist and have been playing for over 40 years. If this pedal went missing, I'd get another ASAP. It's a very inspiring tool and will replace all my other fuzz boxes. This is the best Super-Fuzz clone on the market. There's absolutely no reason to waste $300-$500 on an old beat up original on eBay when you can get the same classic sound for less than half.
