I had this thing up and running in about 10 minutes after i figured out the signal flow. The manual was great..nice and easily worded. I was Roger Troutman in and hour after i got it.

This thing is the real deal folks. It's made heavy duty for a reason, because it sounds like it should.

Just got it so my input in this column is not valid...BUT...thi thing is made sooooooooo nicely and heavy duty, this thing would not be a problem on the road at all if your gigging with it.

I do R&B so this will come invery handy on alot of songs.....Overall, this thing is a beast. If you ae looking for a keyboard Talkbox, this is hands down the one to get. WMS came correct on this thing.

The best talkbox on the market for keyboards, no doubt about it. I've read reviews about talkboxes with overly-simplistic manuals being worthless. This manual gets straight to the point effectivley and gets you "talkin" in no time what so ever. When I recieved my k-type, I aimed to get it running in about an hour. I had it up and "talkin" in less than 10 minutes.

I'm currently using it with a combo amp, with an external speaker jack, anda korg synthesizer. The k-type makes absolutley no noise even when turned up close to its limits. They even give you two differnt size tubes to use (one large and one a little smaller.) Both give you superb sound, but I, like most, found the thicker tube to have more tone and more control while enunciating words. My goal was to sound like Roger Troutman, and I have achieved it with the k-type.
Reliability

This is the best talkbox I have not only owned, but ever seen. It is truly built like a tank. I would drop this from a one story building, and play with it at a show that night. I just don't see how it will ever, ever, ever be unreliable. I see absolutley no need of a backup for the k-type.

This should not even be a category. When you email WMS, you not only get an email back, you get the most knowledgeable person out there eager and completely willing to asnwer your questions. Vince has given me more help than any person I have ever came across (that's a lot of people....). This is the best customer support I have ever experienced. Period.... I would rate an '11" if able.

If you want to sound like Roger Troutman or just want to use a talkbox on keyboards, then this is the talkbox for you. This is the only company smart enough to make a talkbox specifically for the keyboard! Not only that, they make each one individually. They even made a custom blue flame color just for my purchase.This is the best talkbox on the market for keyboards, no doubt about it. I have been playing music for about 6 years, which isn't that much, but I really know great products when I see them. The shipping is amazing, the maunal is perfect, and most importantly this is the only talkbox you will ever need to buy. A must have...
