Ease of Use : 10
very easy. Three knobs, thats all

Sound Quality : 8
My father bought this pedal in the 90's when he travelled to Japan. Now I use it with Marshall JCM 900 4100, and a Splendor, a Squier JV series, and an Ibanez RG Japan. I use it to boost my Ehx Big Muff and Sansamp Tri A.C. There's a little noise if used with these pedals, but if it used to boost/compress clean sound, there's no noise at all. One thing weird about my CO-10MII, if i crank up the level/sustain knobs, it'll produce a little overdriven sound (it's been like this since i had it in the '90s). But some how it'll be nice if you play soft blues. Very soft compression, very loud in volume. I liked it more than my Boss CS3 Japan. A very strong pedal.

Reliability : 10
I had it in my storage for about 15 years unused, but now i used it in my pedalboard again. No problem at all. It's like magic!

I live in Indonesia. Never had any contact with the guys at Yamaha. I'm preety sure i might be the only one used it in Indonesia!

Overall Rating : 9
I've been playing guitar for 10 years, in a Prog-rock style of music. I also play drums in my band, but i loved my guitars. I have a Boss CS3 too, but i like my CO-10MII more than the CS3. It has a wider range of compression than the CS3 (both made in Japan). If it lost or stolen, i think i will buy a more sophisticated compressor pedals, as this pedal no longer in production...(correct me if i'm wrong)

piece of pie (i mean cake). 3 knobs; level, attack, sustain.

Sound Quality : 8
using a Tele and Strat into Fender silverface amps. Like the othe xx10MII series pedals this rolls a little of the top end. It's a not as 'grabby' as some compressors, pretty smooth. I actually use it as a booster too by cranking the output level. Not noisy at all.

Reliability : 10
Built like a tank. I've dropped this countless times as well as stompin' on it! never had a ny problems with this or any other yamah pedal (got 6 of them).

good no frills pedal. great build quality so, bargain at the price. Not a Keeley, or Analogman. but costs 1/10th of them. Look for any of the xx10MII series on ebay, they're great value.
