This pedal is really easy to use. You just turn it on and you've got 24 patches to play with without even starting to think about editing them and creating new patches. Editing and adjusting patched is easy too - anyone who's used any other Zoom products will know how easy it is - for those of you who haven't (is there anyone who hasen't?)you'll just have to believe us 'cos I can't be bothered to explain.... The manual is good and comes in about 8 different languages.

Sound Quality : 9
I use this with an Ibanez Blazer, Trace Elliot Supertramp, Boss Wah and Boss Compressor. Its not really noisy but you do get wooshing sounds from the flanger when you're not playing. Some of the presets are a bit overdone but thats the same on just about any other multi-effects unit and its easily adjusted. The sounds themselves are very good - the chorus and the flanger are particularly good. The phaser and the tremelo are decent and save you having to buy an expensive pedal. The pitch shifting and harmonizer are pure class. They are better than their Boss counter-parts. Other effects are the pedal pitching, doubling and step pitching-all of which you don't really use that often.

Reliability : 9
I have gigged this. It's not gonna break. I don't know what everyone has got against plastic cases-they may be not quite as strong as metal but they still aren't gonna break unless you purposely try to bust it. I've had it since January and I've got a 3 year warrentee on it so I'm ok.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never dealt with them but I hear they're pretty good with customers.

Overall Rating : 9
This pedal is great. If you bought all of these effects seperately it would cost you nearly a thousand pounds and this pedal has them all for #100. Its got every modulation effect you're ever gonna need in it and they sound real good too. I would replace it if it was lost or stolen-I use it so much. Yeah, buy this pedal-its great. E-mail me if you have any questions.

Very easy to use right out of the box. Manual is very well written and helpful for when you're ready to explore.

Sound Quality : 8
Very quiet to my ears. No distortion in this box, but it has a very useable eq section and pitch shifting among the usual modulation effects. My favorite is the phaser. It sounds better to me than any other box or rack I've used or heard. The flanger is good and had a very wide range of sound shaping, but the chorus is rather "thin" to me (but I'm partial to the Boss Chorus sound anyway.)

Reliability : 5
Not that sturdy since it's plastic, but should stand up to heavy stomping for a long time.

Never dealt with them.

Overall Rating : 10
I think this pedal is useful for any style of playing. The only thing I would use in conjunction with it is a delay pedal and amp reverb. Even if I didn't like modulation effects I'd still use it for the EQ. Even if it were priced higher it would still be a great value.
