I don't understand how this unit works. I've pushed all the buttons, but haven't spent a lot of time trying to figure it out...maybe 6 minutes tops. Supposedly it's super easy to use though.

I got it at a music warehouse sale in NH for $99...new in box, untouched...as if it came directly out of the early 90's...pretty cool stuff, I'll have to figure out how it works sometime.

Extremely easy as everything you need are on the faceplate. Simple GUI.
Giving it an 8 coz its still easier to use DAW plugin reverbs or maybe the verbs on the Mackie UAD-1 or TC Powercore... but the difference is the sound!!!

Although it's been ard for more than 5 ys, but this reverb beats all the new Lexicons and TC electronics stuff...(i guess they are targetted at the project studio owners, but this is realy studio quality)
Get the dense 70's reverb sounds, easily achieved with layering the 4 reverbs.
or use each input on a singular source, like one on the snare, a pair for the overheads and one on all the toms... in a snap!

It was in the studio where i recorded with since 5 yrs ago, after intense sessions with countless bands, it's still working fine... (and i bought it over for a STEAL!!)

I play guits in a rock band (we used to call it modern rock in the early 90's) but i guess people will call us old school nowadays... Most modern music use less reverb, but its not quantity, it's quality... this machine will work excellently for any of your modern day vocals, acoustic instruments or electric guits, no doubt abt it...
If u can find one (nearly impossible even on ebay) at under US$600-US$700... just grab it, you won't regret it

Great Reverb!!! The presets are useful, indeed. The editing menu is reasonably easy and perfectly intuitive.

High quality, smooth reverberation. I use ZOOM, Roland and Lexicon professional reverbs, and this one is right up there (in its own "ZOOM'like" fashion).
I have used it for about 5 years now. It is definitely a high-end device. It was a part of my techinical goal of using pro-quality reverbs from several companies. The way each company achieves its sound, contains nuances which are usually unique. This, I believe, enhances the overall recording process. And the ZOOM 9200 can REALLY do its 'thing' well.

In over 5 years of use, the device has NEVER failed or glitched!!!
Even MIDI errors haven't caused this machine to stumble.

Never needed to contact customer support; the manuals are VERY good, and apply directly to what one may be trying to accomplish musically/technically.

I play Jazz/Funk/Elevator-on-Steroids kind of stuff. This covers a lot of ground. (Ha-ha.) The 9200 can meet any challenge musically. And it always did pass the test of being excellent enough to be used on the WHOLE audio MIX, without muddying the sound. The price I paid from Sweetwater Sound was a GREAT DEAL. If you want to hear this unit at work, please visit my site at WWW.CEFSHAH.COM Every song there is using it in some way.
I like 98% of what this unit is about, and it compares with any very good reverb unit I have ever heard.
If the unite were lost or stolen, I would likely try to replace it (for the right price), due to its unique sound quality.

This unit is very easy to use. There are a total of twelve keys and one dial on the front panel as well as card slot for storing patches on an optional RAM card. The dial is very nice! It is so smooth when using to change patches. I prefer it over the my Lexicon MPX1's front dial(alot slower). This makes editing a breeze. The manual seems to be layed out pretty nice.

I am using this as an effects processor for my 24 track project studio, mainly for vocals because the reverbs are so lush! I have three high end Lexicon units, and this is right up there as far as sound quality goes. I believe it was the only high end processor that Zoom put out(never seen any other). These were around $2000.00 when they first came out. Used they are about $500.00-$700.00 and well worth it. If you want a multi effect processor that does everything and has more unique sounds, in this range you should probably go with a Lexicon MPX1. But for real nice reverbs that compete with some of the best, this unit is worth checking out. It does do other effects besides reverb.(chorus,flanger,pitch,Equl., gate) All which are very usable and good, but I think that the reverbs are its strong point. It is not as quiet as my MPX1 but not as noisy as my LXP15!. Another cool thing about this unit is that it has 4 XLR balanced inputs, and 4 XLR balanced outputs so the unit can be divided into 4 effect units!! There is also MIDI In and Out.
