Ease of Use : 8
All the controls you'd expect from a 2x31 band EQ. Only criticism I have really is the fact that the frequency and type for the high pass filter is only listed in the manual and not on the front panel.

Sound Quality : 4
It's usable, but it does add noticeable hiss to the sound as soon as you start boosting / cutting frequencies. I wouldn't use it as my FOH eq, but for foldback monitoring, it's good enough.

Reliability : 10
It looks and feels very sturdy.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Haven't dealt with them, so I have no idea.

Overall Rating : 7
It's a good unit that does exactly what you'd expect.
However, the sound quality was a bit of a disappointment. If you want a quiet and sonically unobtrusive unit, go for a more expensive one (Think Apex, BSS and the likes). If you want cheap, reliable (although somewhat noisy) control over your monitors, this would be the unit to buy.

Its a graphic EQ - no brainer really

Sound Quality : 1
I bought this to put in my PA rack for live gigs. I am a musician and sound tech and run my own gear as well as working for a PA company. I needed a graphic that had 15 db cut to handle really tough rooms and foldback eq.
Big dissapointment when I tested it - it was reasonably quiet when all the faders were flat but as I started taking out some frequencies the noise (mainly high frequency hiss) increased until it became unusable. I returned it and got another one - but exactly the same problem!!

Reliability : No Opinion
It seems to be built well - but it is far too noisy to use in a gig, and completely hopeless for recording.

Customer Support : No Opinion
The shop I bought it from were great - money back no questions asked. I didnt have to deal with dbx or distributor direct.

Overall Rating : 1
Dont bother buying this. I am not the only person who has had this problem with dbx graphics - I dont know if there is a dud batch on the market but dbx should never have released such a poor quality product. These are top end graphics but they are not cheap so I would expect something better for the money.
