Sound : No Opinion
Perceived output level: medium high output
Tone: incredibly balanced vintage tone
Sonic evaluation: I am running through an Ashdown combo amp with a single 12" Jensen Blue Line speaker. The Tone of the bass with the Aero pick-ups is perfectly balanced from top to bottom. The lows are deep, the mids really speak. and the highs are clear without any harshness.

For which styles and positions is this pickup (un)suitable: I play virtually all styles of music. You won't get an ultra-modern slap tone from these.

Overall Rating : 10
Comments: I have been playing bass professionly for over 20 years. I have tried everything from Bartolinis, to EMGs, to Seymour Duncans. These pickups sound better than any of them to me. They combine the warm lows of the Bartolinis with the clarity of EMGs. The are also extremely touch sensitive; so much so that I am finding myself using a lighter touch. I dont't have to dig in hard to get them to speak. In addition, I am able to set my amp's EQ totally flat, as these pickups just don't require any additional tone shaping.
