For which styles and positions is this pickup (un)suitable: Rock mostly, Perfect match especially for the deep P-Bass tone of classic Roger Waters with Pink Floyd

:
10
Comments: This is my pickup of choice so far as nothing else has matched the tone I get and if I knock my tone up (installed a delta tone pot from an amer. standard strat) I get one hell of a punchy bright funk tone. I like these active bartolini's so much I am now looking to put in active Bartolini's in my jazz bass. It's a great idea to buy something like these pickups and slap them in a cheaper bass for something that will sound just excellent for much less than a brand new bass with supposedly better sound would cost.
