Sound : No Opinion
Perceived output level: Very Hot,no need for a preamp
Tone: Nice clear tone,balanced and focused for fretless basses
Sonic evaluation: Mesa 400+,Mesa 1x15 and Acme B2 2x10.

For which styles and positions is this pickup (un)suitable: I play in a Alt Rock band,not had much chance to play the fretless yet.But she does sound nice.

Comments: Chris at www.bassculture.de is a great guy,he made the cover from the same piece of top wood that I used on my custom,so it matches the bass with exp pole pieces.I have 3 orders on the go and I will use Chris again in the future.I should have my website up soon so look out for RIM Basses.
