The DELANO MC4 FE fourstring humbucker uses strong ceramic magnets and eight 9,5 mm diameter plated ferruos polepieces. Compared directly to my alnico version, I found punchier bass, more linear dynamic response throughout the entire frequency range characterized by in-your-face ultra fast transients that make ghost notes really jump out and a brightly sparkling top end that never sounds artificial.
Instrument

Musicman Stingray 4 strings. I replaced the original MM's alnico. I changed the pickup cause there were big sound level differences between the different strings.
Sound

The output level is incredible, maybe 30 per cent louder than the original, the sound is incredibly clear, warm and full of big balls basses!
I'm playing as well blues, pop, 70's rock and metal and it fits with all of those styles.

Delano is still not well known, but I'm sure that this german brand gonna be one of the best in the future! I've got a brand new bass, thanx to Dr Reinhard Jedamzik; you're awesome!
