Other pickups on guitar: dimarzio
Artists using this pickup: ??????????
You musical style(s): prog, rock, funk, blues
Reason for pickup change: needed more clairity and less output noise
Sound
:
No Opinion
Perceived output level: alot better then stock pickups I was able to keep my amp slighty lower in volume which also kept the noise down
Tone: really trebly and midsy I hve the bass cranked on the amp to compensate but it sounds just like what I want it to
Sonic evaluation: BB450, Ampeg svtIII pro, sansamp rbi, ampeg svt115, avatar 210
For which styles and positions is this pickup (un)suitable: I wanted a bass with awesome slap tone which it now has and I wanted it to growl like geddy lee on the bass solo to freewill off the live album exit stage left and it does that without breaking a sweat.

Comments: If for some reason they took a crap and it wasn't the fault of cheap manufacturing I would go for them again. I am trying different pickups in similar basses both active and passive to see what I like best.
