Perceived output level: Definitely sweeter and nicer than the stock pickup
Tone: Crisper and more definition than the stock pickup
Sonic evaluation: I was quite impressed with this pickup. I'm using a 2003 made In Mexico Fender Jazz Bass guitar, and I wanted to try a new bridge pickup. It's definitely a good upgrade to a stock fender pickup. I haven't compared it to a Duncan or Dimarzio or anything, but I'm very happy.
For which styles and positions is this pickup (un)suitable: Country, Jazz, Funk. The pickup sounds great in all positions

Comments: I would by this pickup again if it were stolen or lost. It looks great, sounds great, and considering the price, it was a steal.
