Sound
:
No Opinion
Perceived output level: bit higher than average
Tone: it sounds very clear in my bass, strong lows and highs, nice (but less) mids
Sonic evaluation: Fame 5 string bass (neckthrough, alder body, maple/rosewood neck), neck and bridge position. Various type of amps (Fender, Behringer, Crate).
For which styles and positions is this pickup (un)suitable: This pu is good for any styles, which needs clear, a bit mid-poor sound
Overall Rating

8
Comments: The pu worked well with my 3bd onboard preamp, and without it too. It can my low-mid priced instrument into a punchy metal beast, or -with some eq- a vintage J-Bass. Slappers probably love it for the highs and lows. Easy to wire (quick connect cable). Low price for good quality.
