Single coil p bass pickup wound to a full 10.4K, these are the T03 model.

I installed them in my sx p bass. I wanted more fullness and boy did I get it. I also replaced my pots with alpha 250's from guitar fetish and replaced my capacitor with a .1 paper and oil soviet military type, WHOAAAAA!!! Lots of bass and thump now. If you play "BASS" You gotta try one of these capacitors! I like them much better than the sprague orange drops.

Output level is MUCH greater with these T03's. Playing through ampeg svt. 4 pro. WOW! Tone is very bassy and vintage sounding but, with balls. No loss of mids at all. I play good old rock from my heart and soul. Love the blues,come see me play on Beale Street. I suppose if you are in to that slapping non sense it would not be good pickup for you. They are wound to a nice full 10.4K to me that is what makes them sound great. They have a T04 model it is wound to 16k. I just thought that might be a bit to hot of a wind, so I went with the T03'S.

If they were lost or stolen, yes I would replace real fast. I have been playing for almost 40 years, have owned every bass guitar out there. I am a fool for p basses. I have 8 these day's. I love the way these t03's sound. The only grip I have with them are, you have to just dremel your pickguard ever so slighly to make them fit with a p bass pickguard. Only because the ears are a little bit bigger on them than a standard p bass pickup. Compared to all the high dollar p bass pickups, these are right up there with them, at half the cost. I am very satisfied with the T03's. Buy some, you will love them.

smooth, percussive vintage sound- but with the extended bottom end that GFS guitar pickups are already famous for.

Installed in a Custom Precision Bass. I have used GFS pickups in guitar applications and they are great pickups.

At this point I don't even know, they won't fit in the pickguard.

It amazed me the Guitarfetish could not get this one right. I ordered a replacement pickguard, and the pickups together with pots, and knobs. The pickups will not fit in the pickguard Guitarfetish sent. They will not fit in any P bass style pickguard. Stay away from this product, until they get their pickup covers sized right on these.
