Sound : No Opinion
Perceived output level: Hotter than most active systems even though
it's passive.
Tone: Very wide range and modern sounding. Pronounced treble.
Sonic evaluation: In parallel it is very crisp, in series it has
tremendous punch and is easy to overdrive inputs if care isn't taken.
I've recorded with it numerous times, and it works well with a good preamp.
For which styles and positions is this pickup (un)suitable: Not rude enough
for most rock and roll. Great for recording, electric jazz. Exceptionally
sweet high register.

Overall Rating : 8
Comments:
*That* sound requires a different instrument (or two...) It is very
satisfying as is, though.
