This is a faithful reproduction of one of the most famous pickups in the world. It will give a very big and full tone with the slightly hollow grind that the originals are known for.

would I buy it again: YES
How long have I been playing: 6 years, I also own a fender mustang
what do I love: this sounds like Leo Fender meant for a p-bass to sound! Full and round tone, fat with a hint of growl.
what don't I love: this pickup doesn't get colored that well, it's best if you don't try to alter it with anything but maybe tube amp drive. This isn't really a disadvantage as it sounds better than anything else on it's own.
wish it had: nope, passive indestructible bass, one volume one tone, one rocker.
satisfied: Yes

This pickup is like I said, how a p-bass should sound.
Also, if you live in Canada I recommend purchasing Nordstrand or Avatar gear through Steamco music. Really down to earth guy you can talk to that really knows bass stuff. Fast shipping and easy to deal with.
