Reason for pickup change: I was looking for a more aggresive tone than the EMG's were giving me.

Perceived output level: coonssiderably hotter output than the EMG's
Tone: has a good range of tones everything from jazz bass to P bass to Stingray
Sonic evaluation: I am playing through an SWR SM500 head and Carvin,EBS and Peavey cabinets.
For which styles and positions is this pickup (un)suitable: I think that this pick up would be suitable for any style

Comments: I love the sound of this pick up and I would replace it if sommmething were to happen to it. Its sound has exceeded my expectations.
