Features :
active pickups for jazz bass. 9V humbucking.

Instrument :
Installed in my Fender reissue mexican jazzbass.
Neck and bridge. I replaced the original pickups (to noisy).
I was looking for a tight clean sound.

Sound : 8
Output is slightly hotter than the standart pickups
I use is with a G&K 400 RB III, and with my aardvark q19 soundcard. Lately with the ampeg svx plugin. I also like the russian big muff
The Tone is tight not muddy. I think there is a liitle bit les sub. But enough bas. The sound is balanced. The highs are different, but i like it. It's as if you hear the frets touching the string, in a different way.
Very nice sound if you play soft harmonics.
My main play style is rock, with different influences. I like what it does for me.

Overall Rating : 8
I mostely like the tight focused sound. I had to get used to the highs, but i like it. There is a little less sub, for me a minus.
I compared online, so wihtout sound samples...
I played it for a few days now, so, still getting to now them...
