Acacia Custom 10-String

This bass is made of some of the most beautiful woods I have ever seen. It is very dense and very heavy. Most of the woods are of African naure. This is a passive bass with Bartelini pickup. Other models are made with Lane pickups. This bass also come with a brass nut and the neck is seven piece laminated. Each bass is hand made and quality and care go into each one.

The tones will melt your heart. Constructed like a five string with an octive string there is a perfect marraige and liniarity of tone quality that is definitely distinct. Everyone notices the very distinct sounds when I play. And as a passive bass I thought it might have trouble cutting threw the mix or drums. On the contrary, this bass does cut threw and sings with a wonderful voice.

Action is nice and low with no fret buzz. Did not have to adjust pickup or anything.

This bass is very reliable and has been in my collection for 2 years and still going strong. No doubt this will last . I can depend on this bass as it has not let me down yet.
