Allparts is a well known aftermarket parts supplier, their line is visible in many major music stores. I am a dealer, as I am a guitar and bass repairman. This is an unfinished, 20 fret, maple/rosewood Fender jazz Bass left handed replacement neck. The slab board is nice and thick. I really dislike the replacement necks with the steel rods and extra fret fingerboard extension, unless you want that. This neck feels MUCH lighter than a Warmoth neck I have. I like that. I wanted a 'vintage' type neck, and love the traditional 20 fret rounded heel look of original Fender basses. Getting up to high Eb is just fine, thank you. This is made in Japan, as the Fender j-bass body it's going to be mated to is. It is a very high quality, nicely made neck, nice jumbo frets, well installed, but not rounded on the edges...I'll do that.. The truss rod works as it should. Routed for standard 11/16" Fender tuner bushings.

Don't know yet, it is not complete...but it is fairly rigid, and my experience tells me there's no reason why it shouldn't sound great.

VERY well made product. The Japanese have their act together building guitars, and parts.

Should outlive me by a long time, maple, rosewood, same woods as in Fender basses still tickin' after almost 60 years.

Great product, but it is unfinished, a luthier, or skilled hobbyist, or otherwise, smart talented person with lots of expensive tools must apply a finish to this neck. Then, it needs to be fitted, drilled for the neck bolts, installed, and setup. It is NOT ready to use out of the box!
