4 string bass. Ash body with inlay work.Active electronics with dual soapbar pickups. Gold hardware. The neck is rose wood with a dragon inlay . The neck is neck thru body. It is an easy playing low action neck. The bass is not light but it is comfortable to play . Good balance and feel. Included was a decent padded gig bag.

Sound : 7
The sound of the bass is good. The pickups were actually stronger then I thought they would be. Strong lows and not a bunch of noise. I gigged the bass ( nicknamed the yellow dragon) through an ampeg amp and 6x10 . It sounded good ( thats what people told me) and stayed in tune. When I first received the bass it did not play( faulty input jack).

Action, Fit, & Finish : 7
Antoniotsai company should pay more attention to the set up before it leaves the sweatshop , I mean factory. The bass did not play when I received it (faulty output). The intonation was way off. The hardware (tuners) were oxidized. Some frets needed leveling. Thank goodness I have a wonderful bass tech and luther ( David Hyder). 60 bucks later the bass sounded great.

Reliability/Durability : 7
The durability of the bass is suspect. I would and did not gig without a back up bass.

Customer Support : 5
I Emailed the company and told them the yellow dragon wasn't working when it arrived. I asked if it was tested when it left the factory. They replyed and said it worked and was tested when it left the factory. Yeah right.

Overall Rating : 9
I have been playing bass and guitar for many years. Over the years I've collected many guitars and basses. The yellow dragon is a very unique and distinctive instrument. The inlay work is beautiful and intricate. I really like and enjoy the yellow dragon. If it were stolen I would get another one. It is the most custom instrument I own. The hardware is not professional and I will replace them(especially tuners). The bass is not comparable to any of my other instruments. It is custom and unique. For about $300.(including shipping) you can not touch this instrument.
